Light dim

So much better than the original. This has led lights. You don't have to worry about it getting hot like the old version that had a regular incandescent light bulb. Much thinner and easier to carry around. Works on batteries. My only complaint is that it could use more lights. It just needs to be a little brighter as it seems that there's not enough light to illuminate all the pegs. Other than that, it's a great toy.

If you bought a Litebrite I highly recommend getting this set. Kids go through the design papers in a flash so always good to have more at hand. Additional little pegs are always helpful too!!

My granddaughter loved it, however it needs to come with a few more pictures. Yes you can reorder them but not enough to start with

With the "classic" label I expected it to be what I remembered as a kid. Still good, but smaller than the original.

Light bright

This was a gift for my grandson and I can remember when my children were young and they had a light bright and how much fun they had playing with this item.

Low battery life

The product is lightweight and very portable. I just wish the battery life was a little longer on it like most items. And I also wish the light would stay on longer while using it. It has a timer and shuts off after a minute or two. The lighting also is not dispersed well, my daughter thinks it is broken in some spaces and gets upset.

Still holds up

I had one as a child and though it was much fatter than these newer ones and mine had the regular lightbulb that could melt the screen, which these do not. I wanted one for my grandchildren 5 and 8. They absolutely love it. There seems to be something so satisfying for children to put pegs in holes and light up their creations when done. It just never goes out of style.

Great gift. Back piece is a little flimsy but works great and kids love it.

The pictures are bigger than the Lite Bright I bought here at the same time

They work fine but you cut the edge of the pictures. I am ok with that, they are a good value but my 8 yr old gets annoyed hahaha

Great!

This is one the toys I most remember from my youth and wanted to get one for my son, I bought if as a Christmas present, it arrived in good time and well packaged. The toy itself is smaller than I expected but there is plenty of space to make light up pictures. The pegs sit in the holes ok and light up well. Overall a great little toy and my son will have plenty of fun with it just as I did at his age!

Most of the reviews I see are from parents or grandparents saying that their children loved these pegs and templates. As a child free 34 year old who received a lite Brite for her bday a few months ago, This is absolutely a great buy ???????????????? Loved the new templates

Does not illuminate everything.

Does not illuminate everything. Corner is rather dark and possibly lights burnt out but I'm not sure if I should take it apart.
