Surface grinder wheel hub
I had seen some reviews that said this was a cheap Chinese. If it is their quality has definitely improved. The finish on this thing was second to none. Everything is smooth burr free and fits. Absolutely beautiful run out was less than 1/10000 of an inch. I have purchased some US-made used ones off of eBay and paid more for them than this one and this one is hands-down better quality.

Good, Not Great
Unit was steel & not aluminum -- good. Taper inside unit was full, not segmented like a Sopko. Taper doesn't lock well or with much precision. Also Sopko's have spanner holes in the rear & HHIP does not. How to tighten the wheel without them so it can be balanced? Flanges did run true & were 2 ten thou tighter to the wheel than Sopkos. Will use for my non-precision surfacing sinceI have blued them & lapped the tapers to fit. Sorry, but the extra money for Sopko adapters are worth it.

Doesn't accept a 3/4" thick wheel as described.
I bought this for a 3/4" wheel and when installed has only two threads protruding past the wheel to screw into the nut. Not adequate or safe. It's good for up to 1/2" wheels.

Reasonably priced wheel adaptor
About half the price of a the name brand. Well made, nice finish. Fits my surface grinder and work very well.

The taper was a little sloppy but usable for the price I only paid 13 dollars but I see the price is quite a bit more now

Grinding wheel adapter
The grinding wheel adapter arrived quickly and fits well on the machine arbor. Good deal.

Nicely machined, good value
Taper fits my Boyer-Schultz 612 perfectly. Adapter is well made and as good as the factory adapter. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the threaded section used for removal is slightly larger than the original. Though a standard removal tool will probably work, you should make one up with a better fit to avoid long term damage to the threads of the adapter or tool.
