pretty, but some are flawed
The good: -nice looking -comfortable to hold if you have big hands -hold plenty of tea or coffee The bad: -we've bought these twice in the past couple years and the red ones have gotten hairline fractures when going from room temperature to having tea brewed in a teapot poured into them. Twice isn't really enough for a pattern, but it's enough to seek out different mugs as a consumer.

Good quality sturdy mugs, but at most 16Oz.
We may have received the wrong mugs. Good quality sturdy mug, but holds much less coffee than the other 20 Oz mug.

Great large durable mug that came with a minor defect
I bought these for the size specifically. They hold my 2 cups of coffee, sugar and creamer. They do not get hot to hold when there is coffee in them. They microwave and dishwash well. The only issue I had is one came with a minor defect (see picture). When I went to attempt to replace the mug I was prompted to return all 4 mugs. I'm not returning the other three mugs that are perfectly fine to attempt to get a new set with no defects. I continued to use them. All the mugs after more than a year of use have survived and the defect does not seem to have effected the mug in any way

The set is perfect for me - large size, as I wanted, arrived in a pretty package. I had a need to call the store once, and customer support was very helpful.

Very attractive mugs.
I was concerned that there were people who said these mugs were not microwave safe. The packaging indicates that they are microwave safe and I have put one in the microwave and had no explosions or cracking or anything negative, just hotter coffee. The matte black is very attractive and goes very well with my kitchen decor, which was one of the selling points. I do like the interiors being different colors, which allows serving guests without confusion as to whose cup it is. One of the reviews said the handles are oddly placed or difficult to hold. I have small hands so I hook 3 fingers in the handle and support them with the little finger. I can see that someone with larger hands might feel crowded, but on the other hand (no pun intended) if you have larger hands you will be able to wrap your fingers around the cup, if necessary. I can't comfortably do that, the mugs are that round. I like the shape of these cups as well as color because they seem solid when I put them on a table or counter. I've had cups that always seemed in danger of tipping over; not these. As to size, I've had larger and I've had smaller mugs/cups. These hold enough that you aren't constantly having to refill them, and even if you only fill them 2/3 or 3/4 full to allow for spilling, you will have a generous cup of your beverage of choice. I gave 4 stars only because I haven't had these cups long so can't judge sturdiness and also, well, they don't make the coffee and bring themselves to the table. I still have to do that. I don't think you can go wrong with these cups.
