Very disappointed, especially for a hundred $$ milk frother

Seriously, how hard is it to make a good milk frother, it certainly isn't anywhere close to rocket science, and why have so many failed so miserably, other than intentional, overly focused on profit, getting by with the bare minimum. A trend I had hoped Amazon will begin to address and discourage. The problem these days is anyone can sell anywhere, and nothing is validated fit for consumption or use. My prior Krups milk frother did a good job, but the non-stick coating started to come off, and I don't even use anything but soft sponge. So I go on the hunt for anything non-china designed and made, good luck with that. So here's a big EU brand name known for kitchenware, Zwilling frother looked promising at first glance, stainless steel, so non of that coating coming off BS, seemingly simplistic design with the motor driving a free-spinning whisk, all great right..... well. First, plastic rubbing against plastic over time, will for sure result in wear, while spinning, making us ingest tiny particles of plastics, as if the ocean plastic isn't enough of a problem for our food chain nightmare. 2nd problem came when the whisk won't always spin, because the drive or position of the whisk, who knows, it turned a half awake morning coffee making process into an full blown investigative undertaking. I no longer needed coffee to be awake. So, after 1 return, the 2nd still having the issue, I've determined that this is simply a bad design, and it doesn't froth that great, seriously... very disappointed, that something so simple can be so hard to come by in 2023. Do we need Ai for milk frothers? ridiculous.........

Great milk frother and easy to clean

This product is great! Froths and heats milk and almond milk very well. We had a different frother about 10 years ago that was a pain to clean so we stopped using it. This model is really, really easy to clean and we use it every day. Our lattes at home are even better than the coffee shops. Highly recommend!

Did not work at all; possible mine was a lemon

This was a total bust. It whirred sometimes, but did not start reliably and never made foam, even though I was using whole milk, not anything weird. I did purchase it "used like new" from Amazon Warehouse, and it had been clearly tried out by someone else (washed though), and they must have also found it wanting. It's possible the unit i received was a lemon, but after getting an up-close look at the design, I wouldn't try again. It's too bad because the brand is supposed to be good, and i liked that there was no teflon-like non-stick to wear down in the carafe.

FINALLY a decent frother!

Third time's the charm. After 2 manual frothers with broken class snf one plug in that was impossible to clean and stopped working after 2 months, I finally sprung for this gem. Makes lovely thick and creamy foam for my morning coffee. I'm cutting down on sat fat and frothing it up like this makes even 1% milk taste good! Easy to clean-- you can actually wash it (unlike the last one). My only fear is the the plastic that holds the thing that spins around and froths might break at some point, but I've been careful and the whole thing has held up flawlessly for half a year now. Win!

Worked great for 5 months

This worked great for 5 months and then just stopped working for no real obvious reason. I called their customer support at zwilling and they said they would send me a new one immediately. That was several weeks ago at this point and I've received no replacement.

Broke after 4 months

I loved this product. I used it per the instructions. However, after four months of use it stopped frothing.

Great grinder, and better than expected

I was reluctant to purchase because some of the other reviews are negative, but I'm glad that I ultimately purchased because this grinder is great. It's not loud, it's actually as quiet of a grinder as you can get, and the grind itself is good and consistent. The design is good too, it looks good obviously, and it' also easy to clean. I'm very pleased with this coffee grinder.

Stopped foaming milk after a little over 1 month use

This frother stopped working just over one month of daily use to foam milk. No extraordinary use. Unable to determine why.

Cheap product, and not worth the premium price.

Product is cheaply made - not glass, cheap plastic, easy smudging and scratches. There is also an issue with the beans going down the burr grinder so it would sometimes stop grinding and you will have to shake the hell out of it so the bean goes down. The only positive is that the burr grinds pretty fine and even on different settings. Bought on sale for $40, would definitely not pay full price for this crappy product.

GREAT GRINDER

This is a great grinder, works very well, affordable as well. Great addition for coffee drinkers as it has various modes. Highly recommend it to anyone who is drinker - I use it for my aeropress coffee as well as espresso machine coffee!

Further to review

This does a good job frothing. Takes a little longer than other brands. Will see how well the plastic mixing wand stands up to daily use. Hand wash the wand and stainless steel cup. Looks great with my Moccamaster coffee maker and Baratza grinder. FURTHER : March 6,2023. Seven month of light use. Frother no longer heats. Big money for such a short lifespan.
