Love!

I've worn glasses my whole life so I've had many pairs. I've used a lot of different types of cleaning clothes and these are by far the best. If you're sparing with an alcohol based cleaner (which most are) this wipes off the cleaner and makes your glassed all sparkly clean!

Safe for eyeglasses

The local Big Box used to sell these but now they only sell the downsized version which is hardly large enough to get a grip on in use. So once again turned to Amazon, to procure the full-size version of these excellent micro-fiber cloths. I don't really believe in washing them, even by hand very gently - these are just not the same afterwards. So I re-purpose the old ones for still fine but non-lens cleaning tasks.

Better than those given at optometrists'

When I saw Zeiss when looking for eyeglass cleaners, I looked no further. I have had other microfiber cloths that ultimately just didn't work well. However, I have one Zeiss that I've kept in my car's console that has served me well for years. In fact, it's grungy and stained, as I have never washed it, but it still works great!

My Favorite Microfiber Cloth

I hope this company sticks around as long as I do because I will always purchase the JUMBO microfiber cloths from Zeiss. Super soft. I use them for eye glasses (the amount of cloth makes it easy to clean without leaving fingerprints behind as often happens with smaller sized cloths), and any electronics with a screen. I have yet to wash the cloth and therefore unable to attest to its utility after a washing. Hope this helps, I like them so much, I now have six of these microfiber cloths.

These lens cloths are huge, but seem to be treated with something

The size of these lens cloths makes it easy to clean monitors, flat screen TVs, glasses, or smartphones; without accidentally leaving fingerprints or smears. The cloth seems soft enough and didn't scratch corrective lenses. They work better moist with water or lens cleaner for me. The edges are clean cut with no fraying. Lint is minimal after hand washing in hot water with dish liquid. White lens cloths like this are the safest with expensive lenses, since it is easier to see if they are soiled and potentially scratch. *It appears to me, that there is some sort of oil or treatment that leaves a smear on certain antifog/oil resistant coatings. This was apparent right out of the package. Whatever oils or residue on the cloth were easily removed by hand washing with Dawn Platinum in hot water: no more smearing.

Good cloths but after a few uses they won’t clean eyeglasses well. They get oils from glasses and fingers and smear the glasses. Get the pre moistened cleaning things.
