Nice straight grain

I’m teaching myself chip carving so this wood is a good fit for practice. However, it’s made of several pieces joined together and cutting across those joints is a bit tricky and awkward. For a final piece, I would want a single piece.

The dimensions were not as stated I through I was getting true sized wood. I also didn’t see where it stated that the edges were routed with a design I wanted a flat board a true 13inches long. I cannot use them as planned as they are a full inch shorter in length and width for the carving project I planned to use them for.

It is a pretty decent product, but the stated dimensions are wrong: the long dimension is 12" not 13". Quality is good, though the finish on the edge moulding is fairly coarse.

Good for crafts
