Great monitor for the money

I like that the screen is small enough to put in you pocket and walk around the house doing odd and ends. It reaches approximately 100ft in distance. It has a light on the the top right the of the screen as well as a loud speaker to hear crying. If the camera is close enough you can also hear your child breath. I will say that the picture is a little grainy so if crystal clear images is on your bucket list you will need to spend more money.

Simple but effective!

What I hate: the brightness! When sleeping, the brightness is very annoying and you may have to turn it away from your face just to get sleep. Our son is 9 months now, so I really use it just to hear him. What I love: Battery life- amazing. If you turn it off after use, it could last 2 days, even with being on 12hrs a day Great audio. Even with the screen off, the audio has a little green/yellow/red indicator on the side to show you that baby is crying, talking, or screaming. Example, talk would show green, crying would be maybe yellow, and screaming would show red. It’s great when I’m working from home and need to then the sound down. I love the range of the monitor. I can be downstairs and still hear and see baby. We have a 3000sq ft house and the range is nice. It’s a great cheaper option. Get it!

This was our favorite…

This system was our favorite and it had such great reviews. We’ve had it for almost 2 years but suddenly a couple nights ago the handheld stopped turning on and will only stay on when connected to the charging cord. It’s unfortunate but we will more than likely be buying another because it was reliable and the features are great for the price. I don’t know why it stopped working, but we trust vtech.

Exactly what I wanted

I really like this camera. There are so many high end, fancy options out there now. I was gifted a very expensive baby cam and ended up returning it because I didn't like having to watch through an app on my phone. I like the simplicity of this camera. It is good quality and does what you need.

Vivid piece of mind!

I’m a new mom and this was something I didn’t put on my registry at first, big mistake! This camera is amazing! Great sound quality and the picture is WOW! Even night mode is clear! I also love that I can talk to my little guy when he’s fussy. Charged fast and great range! It’s the perfect affordable camera/ mic for piece of mind!

Baby Monitor for Elders

I’m using this to watch my elderly Mom in her bedroom. It’s INVALUABLE for this purpose!! All CARE GIVERS should have one, not just new parents. I’ve never bought a baby monitor before but this is good price and brand name and is a blessing!

Essential & easy to use

We were gifted this w/ our 2nd baby & we just had to get it again this 3rd baby! If our oldest didn’t accidentally break the first monitor, I’m positive we’d still have it. We appreciate the temperature notification (it helps us stay aware when the back rooms become too warm) ) & we loved the lullabies/soothing sounds! (So does baby) It’s really neat to be able to talk to baby through the mic as well, to promote self soothing.

Soy mamá primeriza y no sabía que monitor elegir una amiga me lo recomendó (la marca) ya que había utilizado otras.. me estaba inclinando por comprar una cámara de vigilancia y monitorear directo en mi celular, sin embargo el día que se queden al cuidado de otra persona esto sería imposible. El tamaño de la pantalla esta bien, la imagen y su calidad está bien, no es HD pero ves a los bebés. Lo único que no me gusto y es por eso que le doy 4 estrellas aparte del precio (porque hay cámaras mas baratas y de mejor calidad en imagen) es que la pantalla no se queda encendida todo el tiempo.. a veces pueden mis bebés hacer un ruido y si está suspendida la pantalla no se enciende a diferencia de un llanto, pero si tengo la pantalla encendida, que a cada rato lo hago por el motivo que acabo de escribir, si logro escuchar los ruiditos que hacen si se despertaron.

Doesn't turn back on to alert on movement or noise

I bought the monitor to use in house,and for mowing the lawn on our lawn acreage. The monitor itself seems pretty good,but it shuts off to a black screen for battery saving. That's fine and all,but it isn't turning back on when my daughter wakes up. You have to physically push a button ( approximately) every 30 seconds to see what is going on. I've read the directions and Google'd for a solution,but can't seem to find one.

Bought as a gift

I bought this for my daughter and her little family. She absolutely loves it. A friend recommended it and I agree with my friend that it's the best one out there. My daughter loves the fact she can talk through it to baby in the other room. Buy this one over any of them. It's perfect

Justo lo que necesitaba!!

Estoy muy contenta con ésta camara, es justo lo que necesitaba. Es muy práctica y fácil de conectar, me la llevo a todas partes! Le dura muchísimo la pila al monitor. Y tiene buen alcance, la pantalla está pequeña pero es suficiente, tiene muy buen audio. Es funcional. Antes tenía una de la misma marca, pero de wifi y QUÉ HORROR, era muy complicado conectarla, no le duraba nada la pila, nunca podía conectarla en otra parte que no fuera al wifi de mi casa. Asi que MIL VECES MEJOR una cámara que no requiera wifi.

Disappointed!

When we first recieved this product we were super happy with it for the first month or so! It has pretty good night vision, and the range was really impressive! Unfortunately, it's battery life completely nosedived after a month of regular use. The portable monitor constantly needs to be recharged, and we can't rely on it to be unplugged for more than an hour! Hope this review helps someone else!
