Weak materials, chain tool bent the first time used

This multi-tool was returned after the chain break tool bent the first time I used it. The tool seemed sturdy enough, and the compact design and storage pouch seemed good, but honestly my experience with this tool was very limited before I returned it as I was not willing to take this in the field mountain biking and have to rely on it. Not wanting to be out in the middle of nowhere with an untested tool and a broken chain, I tried removing the pin on a spare link. The link sat properly in the link frame and the pin was well centered on the pin so I began screwing in the tool to remove the link. Before the link pin even began to move the lower frame of the chain tool frame began to bend and deflect against the force. I stopped applying pressure and backed the tool out to see a noticeable bend in the entire lower frame of the link tool. With the bent frame, no matter what you do the tool will never line up with the link pin on your chain and will not push it out. The rest of the tools I tried seemed to work ok, so it you are only looking for a multi-tool without the chain tool portion this would probably function just fine, but even the other tools were very loose in the frame unlike other bike multi tools I have used which are usually at least snug to keep them from in place while you are using them and from rattling around in a backpack or under-seat pouch. I would not recommend this tool, especially the chain break. If you rely on this out in the field or on the road and need to fix a broken chain you will likely be walking home not biking home. Edit 9/16/11 I am editing this review to add another star. I feel one star would mean a total failure of the tool, where in the case of this tool, besides the chain break tool, all other tools seemed reasonably functional at a decent price.
