Perfect Easter Basket Stuffer For A Minecraft-Obsessed 9-Year-Old

This was the perfect non-sugar addition to my Minecraft-obsessed 9-year-old's Easter basket this year. He absolutely loved them and dug right in - literally! I was worried that he'd end up getting two of the same character but that wasn't the case. One of them turned out to be a Minecraft warrior with red armor and a torch (not Steve, I don't think?), all of which needed to be dug out of a bunch of purple slime. That one was messy, but fun! The other one was the Alex character with a crossbow and came in something similar to kinetic sand. Much easier and cleaner, but no less enjoyable for my son. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy this set again in a heartbeat. Actually, now that my son wants to collect all of the characters, I probably will be purchasing more!

Messy and came already leaking goop

So the toy itself is okay I guess. My kiddo was excited to "mine open" the box - issue is the exterior boxes and interior one were all leaking goop. Its not even really slime. Think like syrup consistency- a purple mess. My kiddo was all peeved off he couldn't keep the slime (which isn't slime - its liquid so there's no way to really contain it to keep) and it just was kind of a disappointment to me for what I expected on comparison to what we got. The box is pretty decent sized but the toys inside are small. Likely would not purchase again

So close, but a miss

This was so close to be great, but they missed the mark. The goo isn’t in there like it looks. It comes in a packet then you have to mix the pieces in. Then u can “dig” it out. Kinda ruins the fun when ur the one that has to put the slime in and mix it up. Should of just had a seal peel like a new condiment does. I wouldn’t buy again.

disappointing

missing parts to the toy which in itself was extremely disappointing in addition to being faulty and overall anti-climatic, the slime was like a mock slime that wasn’t really slime at all but instead a cheap jell-o version that was so extremely sticky and near impossible to remove from table, hands, clothes, etc. what a mess- wanted to love it and enjoy the concept , just poor execution.

Disappointed.

Very disappointed. The slime was liquid and dripping all over thru the box before it was even opened. To top it off, I ordered a double pack and both had they same character.

The ooze is awful

We received the Caves and Cliffs Overworld boxes. It was just OK. I was hoping there was a little more to open and search for. We were gifted 2. My son really likes the sand (it does feel nice), but we both thought the ooze was awful. It's not like most slimes you can play with over and over. This is just a mess over everything, and didn't wash off easy. The hearts weren't fitting in, so we had to work hard to get them to fit. Last, a piece was missing. My son was upset that they bow and arrow wasn't in there.
