Perfect if your kids love Popsicles

My son wants to eat popsicles every single day, so I got these molds to make healthier homemade ones. Easy to use and the little stand works well to keep them upright in the freezer. We ran the frozen molds under hot water a minute or two and our popsicles came out perfect little rocket ships! The biggest challenge is preventing my kid from losing the little orange sticks. Love these popsicle molds

My kids always want popsicles. In an effort to cut some junk out of our diet I decided to start making our own from 100% juices. These molds are great because they are made from safer plastics so I am not concerned, as much, about dangerous chemicals leaching into our stuff. I like that each mold is seperate allowing us to always have popsicles ready. As soon as one kid finishes, the mold and stick get placed in the dishwasher (hooray for dw safe stuff!) and is refilled and placed back in the stand. No need to wait for them all to be gone to make more! I was sceptical about the stand but it has proven to be steady. I can place them in there and walk to the freezer without them spilling. Our freezer is a bottom pull out one and they don't spill or knock over even when the kids pulls really hard. The design is fun and the popsicles slide out easily after being held under running water for a few seconds. My son threw a popsicle to his brother who didn't catch it and the stick broke off the base but that's been our only problem in 5 months use. I do, however, feel they are a little pricey but it's nice knowing what my kids are eating and I'm sure we saved as much as they cost in a month's time.

Great overall with a few minor flaws

My 2-year-old and I both like these home-made popsicles. The mold is much sturdier than it appears in the picture and stands up easily in the freezer. Our freezer is fairly full but this doesn't take up too much space. I find that the base on the end of the stick prevents quite a bit of spilling compared to store-bought popsicles--though we still eat them outside, baths/laundry aren't necessary afterwards. My one complaint is that the popsicle stick is too long to easily eat the bottom part of the popsicle, even for an adult. You can't really slide the popsicle up the stick as you might with a wooden stick. In the rocket shape mold, the bottom is quite a bit bigger than the top, so we end up wasting a little more than I like. You also have to be very careful not to overfill them--I kind of wish there was a fill line on the mold, because I keep just barely overdoing it and end up with juice to clean up on the stand. But overall, I really like this mold. The shape is fun and it even came with a few good recipes to try.

Possible eye poker!

Hard to fill. However it maybe the pour spout I had :/ . What I didn't like.is that the lids did not hold tight as liquid is in frozen. It needs to be frozen with them on the base so liquid did not leak or make mess. Once frozen pops can be removed from base and stored in another area of freezer. Also to note, we made frozen ice coffee, to bite the "icecream" off the stick could like you in eye. Glasses may be needed. :)

Not Quite Perfect, But Better Than the Alternatives I've Been Able To Find

I still wish I could make the individual triangle-shaped popsicles my mother made in aluminum molds with a rubber gasket where the wooden stick went in; she filled the mold flat, and when the popsicle was frozen she's just run a little water on the backside, wiggle the stick, and the popsicle would pop out intact. No need for drip catchers: she handed me my popsicle and a napkin at the same time, and that took care of it! So for decades I've searched for molds that make INDIVIDUAL popsicles, like those, and these (and their friends here on Amazon) are the first I've found. They do the job. They can be filled and emptied individually. They're cute. They're a LITTLE hard to remove from the mold-- plastic versus aluminum? – but not too bad. They sit rather awkwardly in the freezer. They're better than anything else I've found, but they're still not as good as Mama's molds, and I'm still looking. As for the popsicles? Mama filled the molds with apricot nectar. Yum!

Very fun and easy to use. Great buy.

These are awesome! I've bought others in the past that we cheaper but didn't freeze well. These were easy to use. I followed a recipe that came with the molds. I made some dairy free fudge pops with frozen fruit blended. They came out great. My son loves them. They don't take very long to freeze. It actually took only a couple hours to freeze. They came out fairly easy after running under warm water as suggested. They are very cute and my son loves the rocket ship design. Fun and easy to use. Would definitely recommend these. Great buy.

Great popsicles, but they do leak

These popsicle molds are great and with a little warm water run on the outside they come out with no problems at all. I do have one beef though. They claim that the holder makes it so it doesn't spill on you.......well, trust me, it does and actually makes it worse than the ones that only have the stick. At least with the stick handle kind you can cover your bases and get the drips with your mouth. The cup at the end prevents you from doing this and when you tilt it to go in your mouth all the drips that accumulated in the cup go all over your shirt. Maybe I will have to leave more space than it says at the end so I can still get my tongue under the rocket bottom to catch the drips before they accumulate. Still a great popsicle mold and just the right size for adults or kids. Not too big, not too small...just right.

Sturdy molds

I chose this rocket shape because it was reminiscent of the popsicles I had when I was a kid, though not done up as fancy as this one. The Tovolo molds are my first experience with popsicle molds, and I am extremely pleased with each and every set I've bought so far. They are very sturdy, the plastic is not flimsy, and the trays do not take up a lot of room in my freezer. I have a freezer with adjustable shelves, and all three trays (6 popsicles each) will fit on one shelf. The popsicle is easy to remove in spite of the shape. I find the drip tray helpful, as I'd rather remove bits of fallen popsicle from the tray than from my blouse! I don't worry about drips because my popsicles don't stick around long enough to melt; however, this would be a large popsicle for a little kid.

Okay but

They are a little top heavy for small children. If you use half the volume, then it is more manageable. Kind of cute shape, easy for little ones to such on. I'd recommend, for sure.

Brilliant rockets

My daughter and I have been through many lolly molds. These are great because they stand up on their own which means we can keep the tray in the freezer and fill the moulds up easily on our kitchen counter. The lids fit on well and they fit into the tray well. It's quite hard to remove the lollies from the mold but we just fill a jug with hot water and rest the lolly in the water for a few minutes. Comes out easily then.

No complaints

These meet all expectations. Let them sit in hot water for about a minute to remove your popsicle. The shape makes cleaning a little more of a task, but overall would happily recommend to a buyer.

Perfect rocket popsicles

The perfect popsicle mold! Love the way you can take out individual popsicles instead of the whole pack. They come out easily with the shape intact. No need for a more expensive option!

Good quality

These are very good value for the cost...the materials are good quality. My grand children love the 'spaceship fruit pops '. I would highly recommend this product.
