Better than the reviews

From the reviews I thought it would get all over the place but it wasn’t that bad. Just a little shedding. It’s getting a bad “wrap” in the reviews. I have never insulated anything and I was on a “roll” with this product.

Meh. It does the job.

This will wrap your duct no problem, but as others have mentioned the fiberglass material is way too brittle and dusty. They could as more glue and binders for the price. It seems to want to get everywhere if you just look at it the wrong way. Honestly, they should have just foil wrapped the whole thing.

THE Best Product On The Market For HVAC Duck Insulating

This is a terrific product that does just exactly what it was designed to do! I used it to wrap the HVAC supply runs in my older home and what a difference it has made! Very easy to work with. But just like any project, make sure you know what you are doing. Long sleeves, light gloves, a hat and even a face mask helps because the insulator in this product is fiberglass and it can shed in the installation process. That is to be expected. I think you would be very hard put to find a better product for it's intended use.

The preset Amazon comment categories don’t necessarily apply. Successfully used this product to rewrap/overlay existing external HVAC duct insulation. Dimensions listed for product are accurate.

Great product. Good price. Heating Co. wanted $1000.00 to cover my heating ducts, I used this product and the total cost was under $150.00. BEWARE! Use a full hoodie and full body cover, when working with this good product!

Great product to insulate HVAC ducts.

Product worked as advertised and easy to put on, assuming you can get access to the pipes. Easy to cut when needed. I covered some 90 degree bends with success— just used some metal HVAC tape to secure the pipe insulation. I didn’t use gloves to protect my hands from the insulation material, but probably should have. Ordered a second roll to do some other pipes as well.

Sheds like an Alaskan husky

As others have mentioned, the fibreglass sheds like anything. WEAR A MASK because you will be breathing it in. For this reason the product could work well in a fixed location but not for something like a portable air conditioner exhaust hose (where you will be wrapping and unwrapping it at least twice yearly).
