Gorgeous
We love our new clock. Stylish, cute and a conversation starter. No complaints about the vendor, the clock was well boxed and in perfect condition when it arrived when promised.

Nice copy cat of Original.
Runs a little fast Hard to read, especially in the dark. Looks a lot like the original at a more affordable price. We mounted in our Airstream trailer works with decor.

Yeah, you go ahead and pay $375 and tell me all about it.
Mid-century should be fun. And if it isn't whimsical or fun, then it had better be sleek and minimalistic. Look, I love the real deal as much as you do, but you have to draw the line somewhere. That stuff on the walls that made you depressed when you visited your grandma? It's worth a small fortune now, stupid. Guess we all shouldn't have opened our action figures or had that garage sale when grandpa croaked. But now you want that sweet clock he had in the kitchen and damn if your mom didn't sell it for $5 along with some Hummel figurines back in Reagan's first term. What are you going to do? I'll tell you: buy this clock, throw a battery in it and slap it on the wall. Done and Done. Walk by it and smile. That's what it's supposed to do; make you smile.

It's great except for one thing
It is exactly as described except for one thing, the colors on the balls. In the picture it shows the colors to be bright. In reality they are very muted. We have had to paint 3/4 of them. We have open shelving in the kitchen that joins our dining room. We have Fiesta Ware dishes and wanted to colors to match the brightness of the dishes.

Love it!
When I saw this, it took me back to the 50s and 60s growing up...this almost exact clock hung in our kitchen as I grew up. My mom loved mid-century modern...I still have the Eames chairs from our dining room! My mom is long gone but every time I look at the clock, I think of her and the wonderful times in that kitchen. The only differences are (to my memory) that our clocks hands were all black (it burned in a fire so I don't have it to verify) and it runs on a AA battery instead of plugging it in. Oh yea, it works great too! Couldn't be more pleased with the purchase!!!!!

Bad Quality in General but What a Beautiful Design
Generally don't like knock-offs if I can avoid it. I currently don't have the stomach to pay ~$400 for a George Nelson original ball clock so I bought this. First two shipments were total DUDS. First shipment NEVER ARRIVED. Second shipment was damaged - the black flimsy clock hands were so bent out of shape that the clock couldn't function (there was no clearance between the two hands). Third shipment came and again, the hands were a little bent but I was able to do a little adjustment and now it works fine (for now). I love the way it looks though so despite the obvious quality issues, I've kept it...

Stunningly good reproduction
Unless you're looking for a valuable, antique original of this Nelson clock actually manufactured in the mid century, this baby will thrill you with its replication of the classic. Thick metal housing, with a modern quartz time keeper inside. Beautifully done semi gloss colors on the balls. And delicate, nicely painted hands. As a mid century modern buff, I see no reason for spending $375 on the other models listed on Amazon -- unless your'e a serious collector. But even then, as it arrived nicely tripled packaged and secured in a box with the George Nelson trademark, and is manufactured by Kirch Industrial in Tawian, it would seem this model is a licensed reproduction or they wouldn't be able to formally use the name. A steal at seventy bucks.

Totally acceptable for the price
Bought for a client...looks good and works well. It’s not as refined as the real thing...but then that’s why you aren’t paying 4 times the cost.
