Protects our RV slide out switch.

We needed something to protect our RV slide out from "little fingers". This works great. We had to be creative with the install (RV- thin walls. Can't use screws.) We used Command Strips for picture hanging.

Great Product IF YOU NEVER NEED ADDITIONAL KEYS

This is a great product ,AS LONG AS YOU NEVER NEED MORE THAN THE TWO KEYS THAT IT COMES WITH. If more than two people need keys to access to the cover or if you ever lose a key and want to replace it you are out of luck. I tried unsuccessfully to get additional keys from the manufacturer as well as attempting unsuccessfully to get keys made at Home Depot, Lowe's, and a full service local locksmith. If I could have gotten additional keys I would have rated this product as five star.

used for another purpose

I've used this product for several months now and it works perfectly for the purpose that I bought it for .I did not use it for a thermostat cover but instead used it for a double light switch cover ,I have a cat that has learned to turn the light and fan switch on in the bathroom ,i do not have to lock the case, so I turned the case to where it will lift open from the bottom and the cat can not open it, thus leaving the light and fan turned off while we are not at home. now if I can find something to keep her from turning the water on in the tub. thanks

It doesn't fit..your thermostat must be less than 4.5" X 4.5"

Product specs state dimension of 2.6 x 5.8 x 6 inches..but that's the outside dimension. I ordered this because I have a thermostat that is 4.125" X 5.0" X 1.0". The box itself feels really sturdy and well-made. I now must continue searching for the correct size. See attached photo for the actual inside dimension (back plate that would be mounted on the wall).

Works great!

Easy to install, fits great, lock works nicely, arrived promptly. Came with two keys and a simple manual. Good quality. You screw it to the wall to cover and protect a thermostat. Use a key to unlock the box and it opens with a hinge to give you thermostat access. Then close the box and lock it. Not much more to say, really.

Easy to fit

Solves the issue of finger trouble

Great as Gas engineer where the problem of finger trouble of the know it all constantly messing around with heating controls.
