Worth the money

Having the deepest sleep of my life since using a weighted blanket. Using a 12lb. I just wish it was bigger in size and came with a duvet.

Not a King sized blanket

Was listed as a king blanket. It's only 60x80. Twin-sized. Buyer beware - very misleading item title. It does list the size and I did not pay close enough attention as I had a filter in for King size only. Not checking closely enough is on me, but the shady item title is bogus.

Takes getting used to but worth it

Yeah, I saw the advertisements, read papers on the subject and discussed it with my gyno (she is my primary care provider so she is my active health consultant) and the answer came up "try a weighted blanket, with your sleep problemd, what have you got to lose". This was a low cost way to explore the theory. I am sleeping longer than before, I don't twitch nearly as much so I think it works. Again, what have you got to lose ? Warning. A lot of reviews complain the cover doesn't cover the entire bef, sad to say, truth. It doesnt. I bought a kung for my queen bed, and it covers just the top side to side, no draping over the sides, but the length is fine. Buy this by body weight. Take your weight, figure 10% of your body weight and use that weight for best results. I weigh 250, ideally, since 10% of my body weight is 25lbs, I should get a 25 lb blanket. I am happy with the 17lb. Making the bed is an experience, lifting that thing is like moving a Maine coon cat that isn't as interested in moving as you are getting the bed made up. Best with 2 people but I live alone so the cat sits on the dresser and judges me. Yes, buy this BUT NOT FOR VERY YOUNG KIDS, seriously, there are warnings in the advertising and on the blanket itself. There is a risk of smothering. Adults, however, being fully physically formed, aren't at risk of this.
