Jump Rope Is As Advertised

I initially looked for a good quality jump rope for fitness purposes. I was hoping to find one with the plastic noodle-link pieces covering the cord (usually black and white or red and white). Anyway, after searching I found a lot of options and a variety of types. I noticed these were specifically designed for fitness and had a stopwatch, calorie burner counter, etc. I wasn't fond of the colors, but it did more than I expected to be able to do. When it arrived I turned it on, set the time and tried it out. It took a little bit of work to figure out what I was programming into it. To set up the calorie counter you must input your weight which is in kilograms. The timer was easy to set up and works well. The cord is durable, but it takes some use to get it entirely straightened out. Overall I'm happy. For the price it does more than I hoped for.

I've used these before

I bought two more of these because if dropped too many times they will break. I've been using this brand and model of jump rope for years, I mostly use the count function which can be set and an alarm rings when that count is reached, I set it for 250 jumps the alarm sounds then I continue jumping its just a clue to how many jumps I've done to that point the counter keeps score but every 250 jumps the alarm sounds and the counter keeps the total. I throw away the rope that comes with this and instead use window screen spline which can be bought in varying diameters it works better and is more pliable than the included rope. I have not recorded a total amount of jumps for a set of these but its in the many thousands, the battery is easily replaced or if a squeak develops I take the unit apart and apply grease to the moving parts and its good again for some time.

ok for novice, but not if you want to up your game

hey y'all. I've had this jump rope for a few days and its just ok. the good. I like the rotation counter. It's fairly accurate. The rope adjusts easily for different heights Its light weight and you can get some good speed with it. the bad. The spinning mechanism is not good. I've been working for about 6 weeks with a weighted rope (beads) and i want to enhance speed and do tricks like doubles and crossing over. The spinning mechanism does not prevent tangling at all!!! The better I get, the more I notice it. The spinning mechanism on mine kind of gets hung up on the right handle, so that is a problem too. This is the biggest problem I've noticed. The rope is hollow and cheap. It broke once on me, just at the edge though. wasn't a big deal. It looks blue in the picture but when i got it, its purple. For dudes, that's a no no. I'm sending it back. Im very serious about jump rope as a new talent and a great work out. I've made huge strides and I don't think this jump rope will get me where I want to be. I've ordered buddy lee's top of the line rope and I'll review it in a few weeks. here's the link for that one. Jump Rope Survey

I read that if one has HBP that it is not good to use the jump rope which was not good to heat ad I do have this problem. I nevet jumping rope would be a orobkem I just assumed all exetcisr wad good for for onrs health as long ad its not strenuous or overdone, howevet I do like it very much. Maybe I can just do light jumping if not can always give to a family member or friend. Thank you. Please forgive all typos :-)

Light but cannot control the alarm

The reason I bought this is the light jump rope. It is very light and easy to change the length but I had no idea to set the alarm. It is very helpful to notice the number and calories but it just keep beeping. And even I just hold the rope, it already counted, so I got confused. I recommend with easily carrying but not recommend with the other digital stuffs.

I found it pretty difficult to navigate the mode buttons, but overall it's still a pretty nifty little gadget. I set out to get a simple jumping rope and found this guy. I'd say it was worth the $10.

relatively pretty nice, but it's user's manual was a little hard to understand...screen not very clear, but you are able to see everything you need. Overall not a five star rate for convenience, but I'm satisfied.

Great product for the price

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my husband for Christmas. I thought it would be cheaply made, because the price was only around $10, but it works great! My husband loves it. The counter works really well.
