Solid Construction
These elevator brackets are well made with thick steel. The welds are solid and it looks like these will hold plenty of weight for the deer stand I'm building. The only slight issue is that deep in the pocket where the plates attach to the 4x4 sockets, there is no powder coating and there was minor surface rust on the bare steel. A quick blast of rustoleum in the pocket should prevent and further corrosion. Otherwise, these are awesome.

Easy to install and then erect stand. With cross supports creates a very sturdy structure.

Very sturdy construction and made building the new platform for my stand a breeze. When mounting the brackets, take great care in the sides that you mount them on. They will only work one way, properly. Mounted on the wrong sides, the force of the weight of your platform will try to pull the mounting board away from your intended connection...

Good product but has a small and neglible design flaw.
I did a very thorough www search to find the most suitable elevators for my stand. The ones I wanted were those which angled out in two directions ("compound angle") such that both sides of the platform corners got equal support. Some of those I found stated that they were built for the tower legs to be at a 15 degree angle outward from plumb. For my stand with 10' 4x4's I felt 15 degrees would result in an overkill spread between the posts at ground level. Meanwhile the descriptions for other elevators I found didn't state what the post angle was. For this set of elevators, the ones I bought, the Amazon description doesn't provide the post angle however both the manufacturer's website and the Home Depot's website state it's 8 degrees which is plenty adequate. They're also 12 gauge steel whereas some of the other brands of elevators are made of thinner material. To attach the elevators (those I'm reviewing) to your 2x6 the instructions call for carriage bolts to be inserted from the inside, through the wood member, with the nut on the outside. The only negative I found with these elevators is that inside vertical part of the elevator is too high and doesn't allow the carriage bolt head to clear it which is necessary for the bolt head to anchor into the wood. It's a bit of a struggle to work around this design mistake which the manufacturer could easily resolve. See photo below.

Works great
Although I put them on two by fours with three-quarter inch plywood on the deck, they work great. Very sturdy and the best part is, they are made in the USA. This is going to be a elevated/heated deer tree stand.

These leg brackets are perfect for building a raised deer blind. They are strong and once 4”x4” legs are installed and secured as per the directions, there is no swaying. I would highly recommend
