Wrapped around the wires under the hood to deter chewers

All visible wires under the hood of our cars had been chewed by rodents in our garage. It is amazing what those little teeth can do in damage. All my dashboard warnings were lighting up and the car was running hot. I took the car in for repair. Once the wires were reconnected and replaced we put the copper mesh around the wires. So far we have had no more chewing. I think it is because the rodents cannot chew through the copper.

Just what the doctor ordered

Mesh was a little difficult to cut with household scissors but cuts easily with shears. I plugged the mouse gateways with ease. Time will tell if it stops the mice from entering my house.

Love this stuff. I found where mice were coming in and stuffed this in, no more mice!. It does take an inordinate amount of product in a small space, but I'm ok with that as long as it works. ad it works as long as you find the breech. For me it was way up behind a sink. I've still got more areas to find so I'll buy this again for sure!

Averages only 18 feet of mesh for me...

After my first order of this mesh measured only 20 feet (not the 30 feet advertised), I tried stretching it to maybe 25 feet. Puzzled, I then saw some of the other reviews that said other folks had been shorted. I figured maybe that was just an aberration. As I needed more mesh, I decided to order again. This time I measured only 16 feet unstretched, coming up with an average per roll of 18 feet. However, the product description online and on the package definitely says 30 feet. Now, the mesh does come as a "sock," so if you were to slice it in half lengthwise, you might come up the stated 30 feet advertised. But, I don't think the commercial law's theoretical "reasonable man" would find this an acceptable product description. Beware if your project requires more than what the vendor promises to deliver.

Best rodent repellant I've found so far

Just wear gloves and have a long screwdriver to push into cavities, then seal over the top with a sealing compound.
