Thank God for This!

I love, Love this bed cane, because I have problems with my hands and rest and with this I don't have to worry about putting weight on my rest. Went I didn't have this bed cane I would have several pain on my hand and rest trying to pull myself off the bed. Thank you, for developing this product. Thank you again Elaine Stoltenberg

Buy this one and not any of the others..

Very sturdy for the 240 lb man to scoot up and sit up from a bed. The other I tried broke or bent, sagged as I tried to use. . Go ahead and buy this one, not any of the others. I’ve bought a second one for the other bed.

Approved for Assisted Living Facility

My Aunt needed an approved piece of equipment. Her other one was an older type that had bars that a person could accidentally get caught in and not deemed safe. My 92 yo aunt said it helped her be more stable and safe when getting out of bed.

Yay, firm grab for soft surfaces.

My needs are simple, just looking for that firm grab handle you sometimes need trying to get out of a foam bed. Found myself sometimes stuck, with nothing to grab to get over the hump. Certainly could have mounted a grab handle on the wall, but that seemed more obstructive than I was looking for. So this is designed to have the base slip under mattress, above box spring. There is a strap that goes across the bed, and wraps around the standard metal bed frame. That is not what I have, I have a foam mattress on effectively platform, with a wood side rail; platform is wood. What this means to me, is the adjustable hand hold would normally run down the side of the mattress, and you can adjust up or down. My situation is the pipe that runs below the base (adjustable, remember) runs into the wood platform. My solution, a simple 1.25" hole drilled. Turns out this does 2 things, allows the handle to be adjusted up and down. Also firmly fixes the handle horizontally - so mine is real firm. In my case the strap in probably unecessary, but I wrapped around the wood leg on the opposite side of the bed. Works. Now the handle, this is well construction, and has a fabric cover that wraps on the top, and snaps in place. It adds 2 long pockets on each side of handle, for 4 total. I use them to hold remotes. It does what I need, and them some. So really is a cheap upgrade.

Bed Cane

It was very helpful in allowing the patient to pull himself up instead of other people struggling to raise him. A bit fiddly in getting it to the right place on the bed and not easily used with a box style bed as the strap needs to go round the whole of the bed and underneath it.

Discreet, sturdy bar

Sturdy but not too large. My father found it just right for helping him to sit up. Funny little pocket thing doesn’t really hold very much.

Utilissimo non solo per mia suocera che ha 94 anni e soffre di gravi problemi di deambulazione, ma anche per mia moglie che è cieca. Al di là della funzione che svolge egregiamente, la maniglia offre anche un senso di sicurezza (sia mia moglie sia mia suocera erano cadute dal letto). Prima di acquistarlo entrambe erano terrorizzate dal rischio di cadere (mia suocera passò l'intera notte seduta sul pavimento), ma ora dormono tranquille.

A huge help!

My husband bought this for me while I was in the hospital (back surgery). It has been 6 months and I still have it set up. It's very sturdy and low enough that it doesn't feel confining or claustrophobic. Definitely doesn't have a hospital feel about it. Looks stylish, not chunky and the pockets are super useful.
