Just didn't fit right
I wear large everything. I am 6'0", about 200 lbs. I have worn a 686 jacket in medium for years. For what ever reason, large was too small and tight to the wrists ( couldn't even hug myself or put my hands striaght out without it feeling ludicrously tight in the back shoulder blade area. Tried a size up of XL, sure, why not, but had the same issue. It was a bit bigger, but nowhere near enough. It appears it is a flaw with the design of the jacket and the stitching in the back shoulder area is just too tight. Warm jacket, and quality, just couldn't ever get it to fit right, so back it went.

quality of jacket
the item is ok for the price , i had to return to get the right size. its not a heavy jacket for winter so if you're looking for something for skying or snow board , this is not the jacket i would recommend.

Love it
Love Spyder brand as I have problem finding clothes for my tall /skinny son. Fits perfectly, love bright colors for our skiing trip.

Top en todos los sentidos
SPYDER Chaqueta con una excelente calidad y aunque el precio parezca elevado, vale cada euro que se paga. Empezado por la parte de los materiales, decir que esta chaqueta está compuesta por dos capas de Gore Tex exterior e interior, en el medio hay una capa de primaloft, con esto nos aseguramos de que es una chaqueta 100% impermeable y que tardara horas y horas hasta que el agua pueda calar en el interior. Otra de las cosas buenas, es que hay un equilibrio perfecto, entre peso y protección, la chaqueta no es muy doble, pero es muy cálida, pero muy transpirable, por lo que la sensación térmica en todo momento es correcta y al ser tan ligera es muy cómoda de llevar. Luego el enfoque de esta chaqueta, claramente está destinada a el SKI o Snowboard, nos viene con todo tipo de detalles, cinturón ajustable dentro de la chaqueta, para cuando caigamos en la nieve no entre nieve en la espalda, dentro de los bolsillos hay gancho para el forfait, pequeño paño de microfibra para limpiar las gafas. En cuanto el acabado de cremalleras, decir que son de YKK y de máxima calidad, viene toda la cremallera con capa de silicona para que no entre nada de agua en el interior. La capucha de puede quitar por completo y debajo de las axilas hay cremallera para abrir y ventilar si fuera necesario. En resumen, una chaqueta con calidad TOP y que vale cada € que se paga, buena compra y totalmente recomendada.

Great jacket, warm and dry in the snow
The jacket is great even in wet and windy snow conditions. The only niggle I have is that the snow skirts on the arms aren't long enough for me to comfortably use (I don't have long arms). It's a great jacket otherwise.
