Perfect for my needs.
I bought this specifically for car camping. Since it's not washable I made a cover for it. It works great I just wish it had an on / off switch as it does get nice and toasty. Also the description said the cord was 96 inches long and it is not but for me it's not a problem since I have a power jack at the back of my car. But for the price it's very good. I do recommend it.

Good for camping but no temperature control
We used for our camper van. Great for a very cold night. But it does not have any way to control temperature, and stays hot. Would be excellent if it had a temperature Hi vs Lo switch. Thought it would come with a temp control switch.

Takes a sec to warm up and doesn’t get too hot
This product is nice if you’re looking for something to ‘help’ keep you warm not ‘make’ you warm. Doesn’t get too horribly hot and if it doesn’t heat very fast. I still enjoyed it whenever my heater was out in my car though.

Not very hot, also not adjustable
Bought this for some chilly camping nights to run off of my external battery. There were no control options to change heat levels and it was barely noticeable heat in a 45 degree night.

It's a nice blanket, soft and warm
The blanket is very soft and warm by itself. It takes about 15 minutes to warm up, but gets toasty once there.

Useless
Imperceptible heat generationconsidering it pulls 3 or 4 amps. Left it on the campervan bed for an hour came back and nothing, zero affect. So I decided to lie under the blanket and read a book for half an hour and I think I noticed it was slightly warmer than an normal non electric fleece blanket would have been. But, that may have been wishfull thinking. So, I then decided to lie on top of it (which is unsafe to do) and yes it does generate its own heat. But, it is so minusule you would be better off saving your money or spending it on a good Marino wool blanket. I was hoping it would be as warm as my cheap after market 12 volt car seat covers, but It does not even produce 10% of the heat that they produce. A very disapointing product. Can you give zero stars?

Life saver but don't get your wires crossed
Helped keep the cold at bay but be careful when folding as the thin wires can bend and that particular section won't work again. Warm fleece fabric.

Not safe!
There is a government warning on the back that it causes cancer. I did some research once I saw this and it causes a lot of EMF. It is unsafe for pregnant women as well. Use caution. I gave it 2 stars because it is soft and nice but use at your own risk. Amazon was quick to refund me without trouble.
