Did the job but wasn't exactly as pictured

I chose this one because it showed a very thin "brim" of the "hat" on the white piece, which is like the one I was replacing. The product had narrower/thicker brims and didn't end up being like the part I was replacing at all. Problem is the included white caps were too snug to go over the metal pegs and I ended up having to tap them on with a hammer which damaged one of the springs, so it's good it was a two pack. My existing caps fit on them fine so I'm not sure why the included caps were too snug. When all is said and done I'd really give this a 3 star review but my door is working and I'm content with that.

Ugh

I ordered this product because I was one pivot short on some doors I ordered for my bedroom. So, on the bright side, this package came with two and I only needed one. But— counterpoint— the first one I put into the door BROKE (the plastic bottom snapped off and the spring went through the bottom of the plastic) and I had to get some needle nose pliers to dig it out. I don't know if you've ever gotten one of these pieces stuck in a hole, but pulling them out with no leverage is not fun. Anyway, it all worked out and I used the second pivot to hang my door. So three stars for that, I guess, but I'm a little annoyed that I paid $5 for these pieces that probably cost .01 to make and one of them immediately broke.

Good replacement

Initially it would not fit into the door, so I took a knife and trimmed off the small ridges around the 3/8 base; once I got the base seated into the door, the top part fit into rack with no problems; sliding the door open and closed is a little nosier than the solid 3/8 plastic piece that this replaced, but I suspect this one will last a lot longer due to the metal rod.

Be careful during install.

I am removing a star because I broke one of them trying to pound it in. Just find a way to pound the plastic lip and not the top part. Luckily I only needed one. Now that it is on, it works great.

This is a difficult replacement part to track down. I'm not even sure if they make it anymore as it breaks when used frequently. It was very difficult for this company to track one down for me, but they tried on 3 different occasions, until they were finally able to find something similar that works. I would definitely recommend this company as there commitment to customer satisfaction is exemplary. If I need anything similar in the future, I will look to buy from this company first.

Easy install, works well

Exactly what I need to finally get the bi-fold door back in it’s track. (It’s been off track for over two years) Easy to install, hardest part for me was removing the door from the pivot points so I could maneuver this into the top track.

What's to like or dislike? It's a mechanical part, which allowed my handyman to rehang the folding door hiding my laundry nook. It fulfilled its purpose, so it gets top marks!I
