Firm Sealy foam wedge though not as advertised. Description and pictures show a gel on top of foam but the Sealy wedge delivered does not have gel. See pictures I added to this review.

nice, but takes some getting used to
I'm 5'5 130lbs buying this for acid reflux and ease of breathing. Pros: *it helped with acid reflux and breathing *it's comfortable and supportive considering my body weight *feels good with or without pillow (I use a contour pillow, back sleepers should use thin pillows) Cons: *learning curve (a biological fault, not the fault of this wedge. its been 1 month and I'm just starting to sleep regularly on it) *sliding. (you will slide. I rolled up a queen size blanket and placed it under my thighs) *cover ( it looks better than some, but ut's still polyester. I wrapped a cotton sheet around mine) Possible concerns: *at my height, i am able to place my butt at the bottom which allows me to bend at the hips. If you are taller than 5'7", you will have to angle your back which may be uncomfortable Overall, I am happy with my purchase so far, if anything changes I will update this review.

Nice pillow, difficult to return.
It's a nice pillow. It's not exactly what I needed so I started a return. It's impossible to get back into the packaging so I think I'm stuck with it. So, be an expert at packing or be sure that it's absolutely what you need.

The wedge is super supportive, but is super hard. Hard to sleep on.

Keeps you cool
I had back surgery and ordered this pillow to prop myself up. It's very comfortable and keeps me cool. I also use it to do some of physical therapy excercises. I get home pt and my therapist told me it's a good item to relieve pressure on my knees and back.

Mostly, I use this to elevate my knees while sitting in bed to read but I've also used it in all the other ways they advertise it.

WARNING! FIBERGLASS ON MEMORY FOAM!
WARNING! Fiberglass is basically thin strands of glass. When particles of it are tiny enough (when broken into shards from movement), they are hazardous to your health when you breath them in. Weirdly, fiberglass has not been banned in the US. Why? Because it is supposedly the cheapest form of insulation for homes and fire-retardant for items like memory foam mattresses and pillows. There should at least be a law where the product has a warning label about the fiberglass itself, or there should be a warning on the merchants' descriptions. Since neither is a reality as of now, I am warning my fellow people out there. This product will eventually fill your room with tiny shards of glass. After I removed the cover to wash it, I noticed the sparkles on the memory foam. I was suspicious of it after reading about something similar elsewhere. It is covered in fiberglass is why. Now my eyes are itchy and I feel like some particles are poking both my eyes and lungs. I didn't realize the health hazards until after I googled for an hour about this (after I removed the cover completely). Be careful! Make a wise decision. Returning this. Mine even had yellowing on 1 side, so was going back anyways, as it's a sign of (not necessarily being a used 1), but it for sure not being brand new.

So comfortable
This has worked wonders for my mom and her breathing. Keeps her elevated at the right height and is really comfortable for her. Yes I would recommend.
