Good find on Amazon

I love convenience of picking up these types of products from Amazon to save me a trip to the store. I try to be thoughtful about adding things to my cart to eliminate extra trips from Amazon and they always arrive on time. The batteries last forever and are very reliable.

They Work Great For The Fan I Bought Them For

I put these in a my buddy heater to run the fan. It's a portable heater that we bring with us to parades, winter events, etc. Lot of people use them for hunting and for RV's or camping. Mine has a heater and takes D batteries. These lasted the entire evening that I needed them for and still have some juice left in them. I'd say they are great for the discounted price vs the name brand Duracell. Yes, I know Duracell will last longer but not so much to justify the price difference. You could probably buy 2 sets of these for 1 of the Duracell.

They are really good D cell batteries.

We got these for our motion activated trash can that we call “Mouth”. Mouth works great with these batteries. These work a bit longer in Mouth than the Amazon Basics. Both work great, these just last longer. These are a great combination of longevity and value.

Excellent Run Time

Used these for my field radio. They last longer than energizers, but they die faster when they go, by a small margin. They have good run time and have better construction, according to leak safety tests I have read. All in all a great battery with a cool red top. Not being made in China is a plus these days as well, supporting North American industry is good for all of us. I will buy these D cells from now on and I go through quite a few in a year. Good job Rayovac! I never thought I would switch from Energizer. Oh ya and the voltage was a tad higher on the ray o vacs. Don't be scared to try these, you won't regret it. Rayovac finally has a superior battery.

Battery tester has the new ones with barely more charge than the 4-year old batteries being replaced

I just put in these brand new batteries, received a day ago, and they barely made any difference in the flashlight with batteries that had been in there for 4 years. The flashlight was for emergencies so it was a shelf-life drain on the batteries. I don't know if these are duds, or if they were replaced in the package (because I found the package had been sliced open a couple of inches on one side. I'll see how their customer support handles this issue.

Great long lasting batteries

In the past I steered away from this brand however I tried them again as this is newer technology and well we are amazed. They last long, I can't say the exact same as let's say Duracell but I believe they would be neck to neck in a race. I recommend these batteries and save a few dollars

Fusion 2 size batteries 8pack

Tested all batteries with 2 different volt meters. All readings were 6.3v which is higher than all other D size alkaline I've tested.Will update this review at a later date after they've been used.
