Fresh and clean

I’ve used this many years it takes all of the chlorine and other chemicals out of my water I use this for my coffee and drinking water daily. It’s cheaper than buying bottled water and less waste.

Great product

I love it, the water is very low flow on the filtered side. I love the ease of finding the right faucet adapter. My only draw back, is I have a dishwasher that moves around & you attach to the sink. I have to switch faucet adapters based on if I’m using the dishwasher or want a glass of water.

Just like the other filters

Even though this filter cost $10.00 more then the other filters on the market, I ordered it anyway because it is advertised as "Stainless Steel," and I wanted to get away from the plastic models. Notice: THIS IS THE SAME FILTER AS THE CHEAPER CHROME COLORED FILTER. It is not made of Stainless Steel. It is only painted a stainless color. It is still the same plastic, so order the chrome one instead of this one. I really like these filters, just don't appreciate the "Stainless Steal" advertisement.

AWESOME PURCHASE!!!

I am very pleased with the performance of this item. It arrived quickly and was fairly easy to install with the provided directions. No leaking, it swings out of the way when needed but most of all, the unit works! The difference in taste is very noticeable. I am drinking water from the tap now and will save time and money by cutting down in my purchase of bottled water. Thank you, Pur, for making such a quality and affordable product!

Fast, easy to install, beats Brita

- 30 second installation, no tools required (unless your faucet filter is super tight, pliers or wrench may be needed) - pkg includes housing + 1 mineral core filter - water tastes far nicer than Brita (minerals for flavour) - filters slightly slower (could be an indicator of better quality) - doesn't way my long faucet down - included 4 faucet adapters, mine works with the default one - only annoying part is no brand name filters available via Subscribe & Save, hoping that changes - lastly, only use Pur replacement filters, not the cheaper knockoffs (a simple google search will show you countless horror stories of wasted money, poor quality etc - go with Pur).

Nice design, terrible performance, horrible customer experience.

I purchased this filter because of the sleek design and good reviews. The filter was easy enough to install and gave great tasting water for the first few days. After that the taste of the water quickly deteriorated to the level of my regular tap water. After three weeks, the water flow was reduced to about half, and after four weeks it was down to a trickle. Getting a single glass of water to drink was a excruciating exercise. I called Amazon for support and was transferred to the manufacturer. The agent I spoke to, after unsuccessfully trying to establish that the issue I was experiencing was caused by the quality of my water ( a statement with absolutely no factual basis that she used as a reason to explain the deficiency in their product), she proceeded to do some half-hearted troubleshooting which predictably also lead nowhere. She finally offered a replacement filter, but since they had none in stock at the moment, she simply recommended at called at a "later time" to inquire; this left me dumbfounded and speechless. I promptly thank her for wasting part of my day and told her I would be any the call and referring back to Amazon for a resolution. Thankfully, Amazon has agreed to let me return the item with a small restocking fee. DO NOT BUY!

Good for ~2 years

I purchased this in 2019. Recently (2021) it has developed some kind of hidden crack; when I use the water filter function, a thin stream of water sprays from one of its front seams and spritzes everything around my sink. Aside from that, it was very easy to use and convenient, and the cost of the filters was acceptable. I'll buy the same one again.
