A reliable gem

This is on my bicycle for road riding. The bouncing and jarring has no effect on it, stays on the selected mode (unlike others that switch between modes and shut off). The LED is very bright so I set it on flashing or low.

Edit: after a year of owning, I still like this light. Be aware the 80's bracket is smaller than the brackets used in other Beamer / Blaze models. I noticed Amazon's description says "aluminum". Incorrect. The only aluminum is a threaded part in the quick-cam. The body feels like quality ABS plastic. Come on, who writes this stuff? I prefer using non-rechargeable lights. Though, be sure to check your batteries occasionally. Mine had leaked. I rinsed my Beamer 80 with clear water and dried it. I think I caught it in time. I must have a dozen bike lights: headlights, tail lights, and quite a few brackets. This has become a hobby in its own right. I'm a fan of Planet Bike, they're as good as PDW and lower-priced. Planet Bike has a good web site where you can buy spare parts.

Backup head light

I use this for a backup headlight and around town during the day.

Cheap, poorly constructed.

Cheap piece of plastic, and the light is not bright, certainly not 80 lumens. Waste of money.

No headlight just the mount!

I think someone else wrote the same review. All that was in the box was the mounting clamp. Where did the light go?

TERRIBLE Quality Control

I ordered the Beamer 80 head light. When it arrived, and I opened the box, there was no head light. Only the mounting piece and instruction page. Nothing else.
