Went from Aquasonic to Sonicare, and...wow

I had the Aquasonic Black Series, which seemed to work really well. I bought it because the price was amazing. The reviews were excellent as well. However, I noticed that the vibrations were not strong and I didn't feel much on my teeth. It did work, but nowhere near the same as the Sonicare. I decided to not be cheap and buy an expensive toothbrush, the Sonicare 6100. I IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference. The power of the motor, the pressure sensors, the brush heads, and the feel of the brush far exceed the Aquasonic. Also, the brushes for the Aquasonic DO fit on the Sonicare, but you will not get the sensors to work very well, if at all, or the reminder to change your brush head, but they will work. I never realized how hard I brushed, with this, if you put any real pressure when brushing, the sensor alerts you, it's pretty shocking. I HIGHLY recommend this toothbrush. There are various models, all have slight differences, but the 4100 would also be excellent, and far superior to the Aquasonic (no offense Aquasonic users), but I realized it' s my teeth and it's stupid to be cheap. The expression "Save now, pay later" does apply. Sidenote: If you ever lose your charger, you can charge the toothbrush with a wireless charger! Hopefully you never lose the charger, but if you do, this is an option.

Amazing!!

I’ve never seen the point of buying one of these electric toothbrush when I figure I can ya know…manually brush cause it’s not that hard. However, I also got tempted by the great reviews I saw on this so I decided to splurge.I have only used this toothbrush twice so I cannot speak on the long term durability of the brush, however, all I can say is wow the vibration makes a difference. I could immediately tell my teeth felt cleaner and the hard to reach spots in the molars at the back got taken care of. There is literally a visible difference two uses in. I hope this brush lasts a good while because if the quality holds up, I don’t see any reason not to spend the extra dollars on this and avoid extra trips to the dentist for deep cleaning. If you have never had an electric brush and are wondering if it’s worth it I can sincerely say yes it’s worth it!

Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Rechargeable

I’ve had a rechargeable tooth brush that I had purchased a few years back and it did a good job. This Sonicare 6100 is fantastic. I had no idea what I was missing and how great my teeth felt after they were brushed with the 1600. Twice a day I feel like I just left the dentist’s office after a cleaning. It has three settings, clean , whitening, and gum care and it has three power levels. It also tells you when you should replace your brush head. I could not have made a better purchase. This is a product that I’m happy to recommend to anyone and would buy again.

Overall The Best Toothbrush Around

My wife and I have been sharing this toothbrush for several months and are extremely satisfied with it. It's powerful (as recommended you should start with lower settings), feature-rich and it definitely helps keep your teeth whiter. Our only minor complaint is that the chrome skin around the buttons is coming off. Philips should use something different. The charging case with USB cable is a nice touch, albeit it's a bit bulky to pack but worth it. We would definitely purchase this product again and highly recommend it to others.

Just want to let everyone know that I been using this toothbrush for 3 weeks and made my teeth very noticeable whiter feels like I leave the dentist every time I get done brushing will definitely be using this for long time … highly recommended you won’t be disappointed

I made the mistake of buying a toothbrush from Ulta to replace my old sonicare. This toothbrush is super powerful (like my old one). I don’t regret buying sonicare again. Nothing can clean my teeth as well

Hets the job done and love the clean feeling you get after every use. Its something you become addicted to cant live without after. A plus side is your teeth and gums will look so much healthier.

Nice, sleek, but a waste of money

Works great. But I feel it works just like any other auto tooth brush. I got it for my husband and he's been using it for about a month now, and there really isn't a different between this tooth brush and his manual. His teeth aren't any whiter, we did picture comparisons to see if there was. There's not. Not even one shade difference. I suggest if you want an electric toothbrush, to just get a cheaper one. Doesnt have to be the cheapest but don't bother wasting money on all these "higher grade" tooth brushes. The newest oral b one is the same btw. He got that one for me. It doesn't make any difference. ????

Fantastic!

Apparently I have been brushing too hard. At least that's what this 6100 is telling me. This replaced my old sonic care that lasted 4 years. It did not have the "brushing too hard" feature. I like the features this one has and it gives a great cleaning. Nice and quiet as far as electric toothbrushes go. Hope it lasts another 4 years!

Loose Screw (and same as Costco model quality)

I had a pair of regular sonicare toothbrushes that lasted over 10 years. The only reason I replaced them was because brushing my teeth became a 'loud ordeal' - anyone who has owned a sonicare no doubt has noticed the tip the brush goes on top eventually becomes 'loose' and the toothbrush gets progressively louder. I figured, let me buy a new one - and this was what I purchased. Within 30 days, it became so loud and the top tip was very loose. This simply required me to open it up and tighten the screw inside - but its not an easy thing to do, and you shouldn't have to do it (you can youtube vids on how to do it). Long story short - their warranty peeps are to send me a new one, and i'm still waiting. In the interim, I purchased the 2for deal at Costco and no lie, its the exact damn same brushes and quality. Seriously, I purchased THIS model here thinking I was getting more bang for my buck. Alas, they're all the same (pretty much) aside from different accessories. Save your money - you don't need to spend more. This is way overpriced for the quality when you can get two for less at Costco.
