Pentair Pentek CC seeria granuleeritud aktiivsöe padrunid on suurepärane valik joogivee soovimatu kloori maitse ja lõhna ning teatud lenduvate orgaaniliste ühendite vähendamiseks. Pentek CC kassetid vähendavad ka MTBE-d. Need sisaldavad kookospähkli koorel põhinevat aktiivsütt, mis toodab erakordse maitse ja kvaliteediga joogivett ning tagab parema LOÜ vähendamise kui tavalised GAC padrunid. Wonderful filter for RO systems and drinking water filters

I use these filters as well asPentek GAC-10 Drinking Water Filter (9-3/4" x 2-7/8") in my 3-sump RO (Reverse Osmosis) system. I really like that the water has to pass through the entire filter, rather than short-circuit from the closest point. This means it does a much better job of filtering. This filter would work just as well in a non-RO standard drinking water filter application. Note, these should not be used in high-flow applications such as a whole-house filter, as it will not pass adequate flow and will cause flow restriction and hence pressure drop.

Great point of use filter

Our well water has a lot of contaminates as shown by the water tests at point of entry. We have a whole house filter at point of entry and this Pentec CC-10 filter under the kitchen sink. This time I sent out the water tests from the kitchen faucet to see if the 2 filters were doing their job. I was pleasantly surprised at the great numbers that came back this time. The filters are working! I was ready to upgrade to a reverse osmosis, distiller or some product to get safe drinking water. I don't feel the need to do this now. I trust the Pentec CC-10 and my AquaPure whole house filter. I think I have the best tasting water around. I take my own to work...much better tasting than city water.

flow rate is unmeasured but seemed good for axial flow filters

3 of these rose the pH of my city water from 6 to 7.5. ppm still present. the 10x4.5s i had raises it a full 2 with no ppm. flow rate is unmeasured but seemed good for axial flow filters. will try 5 of these for my custom shower filter and hope the flow rate is high enough.

Doesn't filter Fluoride, but other than that, it is good.

I wish it removed fluoride from the water, but it doesn't. Better yet, it would be better if they didn't put that poison in our water. It may be helpful for your teeth, but you don't take eat toothpaste because it is good for your teeth, so why consume fluoride just for your teeth? As water filters go, I guess this is about standard for effectiveness and what it filters out of the water.

It's working great.

It is a little larger diameter than cartridge I was using but it still fit and the larger size may mean larger filtering capacity. I did have to run several gallons of water through it before it became totally clear water. But, all is good after that. I recommend it.

This is a standard size and fit my older Sears two cartridge filter well. These seem to be high flow units, so not sure if original filter contaminant removal specs will be met. This I try to open my spigot valve only half way. (I have a turn valve)

tis is a good filter, it is great for an under the counter filter, I have 2 in parallel for a whole house filtration system and they last about 30-45 days, we have a high H2S content in our well water and without these it is offensive to say the least.

I bought two since the value is great. Installation was easy and fits perfect in my existing unit under the kitchen sink. My San Francisco water taste so much better with this filter. Delivery was quicker then mentioned on my order.

Filter I was looking for

This was the original filter that I had when I had my under the sink water filter installed. Could never find it anywhere until I checked Amazon. It works well. Very happy with it.
