Dropped Temps by 5°C Under Load
I bought an SSD that came with an "innovative" graphite heatsink: It constantly ran at 70°c and died in 8 months. This heatsink- on the contrary- is no joke: It dropped my SSD's temps by 5°c under max load and a massive 14°c at idle. I put my hand on the heatsink after I ran the test; it was warm and clearly taking heat away from the chips. If you want to prolong the life of your highspeed SSD, this is the way to go. Disclaimer: I have a low profile CPU cooler the blows cool air right onto the SSD, plus I have a high airflow case. So my temps may be a bit more generous than others. The product doesn't specify that you should remove the sticker on your M.2 Drive before installing the heatsink. I feel like people could easily look over this and suffer from poor performance because of it. I got the heat pipe option just as an FYI

Good stuff
Dropped my 980 by about ~10*C when under load and ~12*C when idle. Even comes with a mini-screwdriver! Great product.

Worked great!
Don't worry if you buy this it'll work great! It took a 4.0 nvme from 66c down to 57c. It's completely crazy to see something like that. I don't think my motherboards heatsink was that good afterall because when I took it off I discovered it was partly hollow, it looked like a full piece of aluminum but it wasn't. That's why I pulled one of these things out as a test, also my entire rig is the same brand so that's cool. But yea I can't believe how well it did benchmarking.

The right way to install (real review)
Every heat spreader for m.2 drives have the same issue. The controller is usually shorter than the rest of the chips. The only thing you actually need to cool is the controller. Do what I did and forget the dumb reviews about cutting it in half or other methods. Take a small bit off the bottom heat pad and smash it a few Tim's in the shipping tape it comes with. Very thing. Add it to the controller and stretch out the pad or just install it closer to the m.2 connection. Install normally. This is the correct way to install these drives Temps do not go higher than 54*f with no direct air flow but just normal case air flow during a 100gb read and right stress test. My mobo came with a heat spreader for my other m.2 and it's always 5* more than this one. I may get a 2nd one. I'm using the slim version.

Good Price and Performance
An M.2 heatsink such as this is great for older motherboards that do not come with included heatsinks. You can expect temperature decreases of 5c or more, which is very good. It also helps that it is priced competitively and is far superior to that of the EK M.2 heatsink I previously tried out.

Works Good!
There may be some markup since it is a Be Quiet Product, but I have no problem running it and am glad that it comes from a reputable manufacturer.

-20C difference - wow!
On my system I have a Samsung SSD 970 EVO 2TB NVME drive that most of my games are stored on. When I run CrystalDiskMark or Samsung Magician it would get as hot as 75C-80C and freaked me out a bit (note this NMVE drive sits in a low to no air flow area because there is an AIO cooler on the front of my computer blowing air out). So, I decided to buy an NVME heatsink and try that to cool things down. Since, I have been extremely happy with be quiet I bought theirs. After installation (which is easy) and when I re-ran the same load tests above the 970 temp did not exceed 56C - so I am super happy with purchase!

Better quality than other cheap heatsinks
What a nice product. Easy to follow instructions and screwdriver that works for full installation process in a PS5 provided. My Crucial SSD fit perfectly in this, which had no issues fitting in PS5 (and you can replace the PS5 SSD cover on top should you wish to). The screws to secure the heatsink are tiny, but work in a bright environment, and magnetised to provided screwdriver, and you should have no issues. I like that they are packaged in a compartment behind tape, it's little touches like this that make sure nothing goes missing. Drive works OK with no overheating, though I'd expect it to anyway - however other reviews here shows it is effective in keeping temps down. For a similar price to many cheaper products, provided with rubber bands and the like, this is way better and still provided at a good price. Highly recommended.

Easy to install and effective
I added this heatsink to a Sabrent 1TB Rocket drive as it seemed to be throttling under continued heavy use. The temperature of the drive has dropped by some 15 °C, measured with a quick read of 500 GB of data, so if anything this heatsink is too good! Installation was easy, and it doesn't take up too much space: mine is used on the M.2 slot between the CPU and the PCIe slots on an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard and it doesn't interfere with the graphics card.

Perfect for PS5.
It took a long time to get this due to stock being scarce. But I wanted to get a quality heat sink from a well known brand. Very easy to install. Some people are complaining about the small screws but I didn’t have a problem with it. Perfect fit for the PS5, the cover still goes on. The ‘pro’ version does not fit the PS5.

Great fit, looks good
Really happy with these (purchased two). Easy to install and each pack comes its own teeny screwdriver to aid the installation. They look great too. Cannot speak for thermal efficiency but it felt like a snug fit after I sandwiched the M.2 card into it so will recommend if you want a more asthetically pleasing look of your M.2 drives in your motherboard. Theee months later update: thermal efficiency appears fine even in the crazy heatwaves here in the UK. Still recommend these!
