Didn’t fit with washer

The media could not be loaded. While I love the concept of this lock, I couldn’t close it all the way with the washer in the inside of the screw cap. I had to just place it inside the lock. In any event, I’m still happy with my purchase.

These are TINY!

I though these would go over the spigot handle so it couldn't be turned. These actually just go over the threads where you connect a hose, someone could still turn on your faucet, but honestly, they are not that much smaller than the threaded part, I don't think it would be hard to get it off.

Looks better than pic

It’s actually shiny, not dull like they show. My neighbors are close to my spigot and don’t work. Had their electric shut off before and asked to use mine. So I don’t trust them. What they do is none of my business, but they sure like to pretend my yard is part of theirs and have damaged part of my siding and allowed their dog to dig holes next to my foundation. I will be using this to ensure that able-bodied young people capable of working aren’t using my water when I am working.

Simple and effective

This is brilliant! I have a garden faucet at the front of my house and recently have had issues with "unwelcome visitors" using it to fill buckets and water bottles. And leaving it dripping, which is kind of inconsiderate. This faucet lock has two parts - the first is like the cap to a soda bottle and the second is a hinged lockable metal cover. Just screw the cap on the hose bibb and then close the metal cover over it. Add a small padlock of your choice and voila! I purchased "Master Lock 105D Wide Warded Padlock, 1-1/8-Inch, Steel" here on Amazon and it works perfectly although a luggage lock would work fine as well.

It works, although the lock house use must have a narrow shank. It's not super quality but so far so good.

Tap Locks that will work forever

Replaced some old locks that didn’t last a year. These should last forever as they are not the locking mechanism. You have to use a separate lock that can be replaced for cheap.
