Verify requirements of your state.

The frame completely covers the expiration month and year on the license plate. I assume this is illegal, but I'd like to avoid paying a traffic ticket to find out. I can not comment about the quality since it was not used.

Good quality

I don't normally bother writing reviews. The quality of this product surprised me, each golden letter is inlayed, gives a nice 3d effect.

Great quality. However, had to show up to court do defend and get a ticket cleared up as this plate obstructed viewing the license sticker. Know your state's laws on license plate guards, shields, etc. If this had the same profile on the bottom as it does on top it probably would have been a non issue.

Covers license plate tabs area, golden lettering that pop out :(

Love the presentation but, fair warning it does cover up the default locations for license plate tabs, you'll want to put this frame on at the same time as your new tabs so you can stick the tabs in a visible location after the frame is on. Not only that but, the lettering is made of gold colored pieces that popped out after just a few months. Three of my letters have popped out on the road somewhere. I may ask for a refund.

I purchased this March of 2017. By January of 2018, the red on the frame has come off and so have some letters. Won't be buying this type again.

Looks great, but you might get a $100-plus ticket if you use it--police maintain it doesn't comply with Minnesota state law because it covers up the license stickers. Just a word of caution.
