Nice contemporary wall rail bracket

I’m in the stair construction business and sometimes I buy parts like this from Amazon when my suppliers are out of stock. This is a good wall bracket and should be used if your domicile has brushed stainless or nickel hardware elsewhere in the home. It also comes with wall and rail screws.

Just like the pirctures.

The online photos show these brackets to have a smooth transition between the arm and backing plate and that is how they all look. They are as represented in the photos, which is what I wanted. The screws, not shown in the photos are polished and do not match the bracket finish. The reason for 4 stars..

No more rusted brackets

I live on the beach where the salt air will eat anything that isn't Stainless, plastic or wood. When the builder replaced the deck he used a bracket the looks like stainless steel but after one year they are toast and looking terrible. This installs with one large screw to hold it to the post versus the old that used three smaller screws so if you have a thin material you are mounting to it might not work as well. I have these mounted on 4x4 posts.

If you live on the coast where the sea air rots metal, this is a must for exterior railings.

It’s a great product, but there should be an indication on the item page listing it’s standoff distance. It’s 3/4” farther that most railing standoffs.

SS. Durable and had some weight to them. The singular screw attachment to the post allowed ease of install/adjusting.

Nice quality. The specific one I wanted was not available with no estimate of when it might be. I had already purchased a similar bracket by the same manufacturer. The picture and dimension were the same. I asked to confirm if they were the same as a replacement for my previous version. The two products are not the same. I would have rated a 5 star but for the fact that I can only return with a 15% restocking fee plus pay for shipping, again or a 30% partial refund. Lesson learned, make sure I read or inquired regarding returns more carefully, especially if there is any doubt that it's not 100% what you're looking for.
