Good quality and easy to clean/use

I don't know much about high quality volleyballs but this was just like the picture and didn't get a scratch or smudge for 2 days of using it and it was easy to clean. Nice size and pretty good to play with even on concrete it didn't get messed up. I think this was a very good ball and I'd recommend:)

Great for price!

My first beach volleyball! Pros: Cheap! Light and nice for recreation use. Cons: Didn't take long for cracks and such to start appearing on the outside. However, the ball is still good (I've had it for almost a year)! Feels weird for competitive play. Amazing volleyball! Would recommend to someone looking for a nice cheap beach volleyball (not for competitive play, but could be used to play competitively).

Breaks down quickly

Leather is becoming brittle and cracking/ripping [see photo] after less than 2 months (about 4 volleyball sessions). Guess I should have paid up for the expensive version. Experienced volleyball friend said she thought it felt much harder than a top-of-the line volleyball, but that could have been from how I inflated it.

Great to have a nice time!

I purchased this ball so we could play at the beach, and the reason I am giving it 3 stars, is because I found it a little slippery. When the ball got wet, the ball lost all the traction and it was extremely slippery. I've played with other balls, and it would feel different. However, besides that, it is a good volleyball, and you can have a good time with friends and/or family.

Surprisingly Awesome Recreational Ball

After spending years playing competitive beach v-ball I expected to hate this. My wife made me buy it because it said "softer", though I also bought some AVP quality balls as well. We have a sand court in our backyard and often have friends over for games. Well it turns out that I'm not an athlete anymore. Those days are long gone. I now enjoy beer, BBQ and socializing with friends. This ball is perfect weight and feel for backyard (and kids) games. Easy on the arms and fingers, yet close enough to the real deal that it is a nice gain rather than a negative. The competition balls now sit in my shed unused. Two thumbs (or, rather, 10 fingers) up!

The ball will start ripping. It comes deflated. It is a beach volleyball.

I loved it for about 2 weeks, but it started to rip, VERY quickly. There is nothing I can really do to fix it up except buy a new one. It's still playable though.

Great ball, but

We play on a B1 league outdoors and in and bought this ball for our court at home. Played probably 10 to 20 games with the ball. Now I seen that the seam was starting to tear out. Everyone like how the ball feels and plays. the tear might have been from the one time someone kicked it this weekend. Shoe on full blown soccer kick, i was not too happy with that person. Ball has a soft shell, when we played on a field with very rough grass/dead weeds the ball would pick up little bits of hard sticks.
