Super small #1 Filters

The quality of the filters is fine, they are just minuscule. If you are looking for a filter to use in a standard pour over cone, even for just one cup, these #1 filters will drive you crazy. 4 to 5 pours for one cup or else the water will over flow the filter. I'm sure there are some machines that might need this small of a filter. Your standard manual pour over cone is not one of them. I bought a ton of these. My mistake. See the photo for scale. Small mug, standard pour over cone.

They are as described

It’s a coffee filter. Looks like a coffee filter and works like a coffee filter. I like this brand as it fits nicely without a fuss.

Fits into my brew and go.

I don't find the coffee pods of any use as I use a 16 oz mug and the pods don't hold enough coffee for me. I have a Black and Decker Brew and Go that has a filter basket and I can fit these filters into it with a minor amount of molding. Then I can add enough coffee (2 scoops) to make a good cup of joe. Nice price when I buy a dozen.

A True One Cup Experience

I wanted an efficient, single cup brew and this is it. You want to be aware that this is not a 2 cup/little bigger or smaller idea. It is a single serving - A very small SINGLE CUP filter. You save on coffee and get that good solid cup (four pours of water). Believe me, it takes some getting used to but if you can have some discipline it works out.

I use this product in my one cup drip coffee maker... it is the only size that fits.

High Quality, Affordable Filters

Many major retailers in Canada have now discontinued this product and no longer stock them on shelves, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that Amazon still carries them! I use a Black & Decker "Brew N' Go" single-cup percolator at my house, and these are hands-down the best filters you can buy. #1-sized paper filters perfectly fit into the permanent mesh basket, and they leave zero mess for you to clean up every time. Melitta filters are also made in Germany, so you know you are getting a quality product already! I have never had a problem with these filters and will continue using them for as long as I drink coffee. Definitely recommended if you have a single-cup brewer at home.

Be careful what you order, not helpful with return policies

The #1 coffee filters did not fit my 4 cup Cuisanart coffee maker which was ordered at the same time. So I requested to return them because I would like to order the #2 filters instead which I’m told will fit. However, my return was refused based on the following, “hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases” cannot be returned. I find it hard to believe that coffee filters fall into this category. I paid $76.07 inclusive for this order so I am very disappointed in this reply.

Not too many coffee makers still use these small filters, so they are not easy to find. They are cheaper at Canadian Tire, though they are not always available there.
