Bad cane tips

I don’t know what is wrong with this batch of king tips that I bought. But they are only lasting four days! I bought quite a few and I am going to blow through all of them in a months time because of the poor quality of these is a point that the centers are wearing out so fast that the metal piece is popping out and my cane is slipping on the floor when I am walking. i tried going through customer support at medline which is a joke. i explained ive gone through 3 boxes of 2 packs 1 cane tip about every 3 days. said theres something wrong with the batch. i filled out the paper work and theyre replacing 1 box of cane tips.

Wear out fast

Each one is only lasting a week to 10 days. Not as durable as I hoped

Great price, but U get what U pay for

The price was better than any other, unfortunately they only last about two months before the bottom pops out. In their defense, I do put a lot of weight on them. But I have had others last at least twice as long for about quadruple the price. ???? So.... they are worth it.

Not a good batch.

Something about the batch that I got does not seem to hold up well at all. The metal washer will start to come out of the bottom in less than a weeks time. Once I go thru this set, (shouldn’t take too long at this rate) I’ll be looking elsewhere for better replacements.

Good quality, fast shipping!

These cane tips had quite a few negative reviews. With that being said, I received 6 packs of 2 each for a total of 12. I have only had one cane tip since using a cane in the past 6 years that has held up really great (it lasted over 5 months). The tips I received in this order mimick that tip. They are rubber, not too soft, but enough to provide traction, no slipping. After a few days of use I haven't noticed any wear issues like with other top brands. If I have any premature wear out I will update this review. Remember there is no tip out there that will prevent slippage on wet surfaces! I would definitely recommend and buy this set of tips again.

About the same as expensive brand, there are 6 pair, total 12 tips

There are 6 boxes, with 2 per box, total 12 cane tips. I compared this tip to the Carex tip, because that is what I have on another cane. Very well made, the rubber is a little harder than the Carex tips, but very grippy on a hard surface. I compared it to Carex by trying to slide two canes, one with Carex and one with this. The rubber thickness is about the same as the Carex. These tips have a steel insert, same as Carex. The Carex tip costs about $3 per tip, this tip costs .50 cents. I installed this tip on a folding Medline cane, which gets frequent use and what I use when I leave the house, so I will soon be able to determine the wear.

Good value, buy they don't last forever.

Ordering these in the six-pack means I don't have to try to buy them at a retail store, where they are seldom in plentiful supply. When your tip finally wears out, it can be dangerous, so having fresh ones on hand is reassuring.
