So soft, they aren't very durable.

After just a few days use, the discs inside that prevent the hollow tube of the shaft of the crutches from cutting through the rubber, managed to work their way out through the side of the rubber tip. The part that touches the ground wore through pretty quickly, too, even when I figured or how to prevent the disc from slicing its way out. After i went through all 8 pair of tips in just a couple of months, I then bought the black ones, and they seem to be much more durable, as I've only gone through about 2 pair in the same amount of time it took me to go through 8 pair of the grey ones.

These crutch tips do not last...

I am 67 years old and use my crutches daily. I am pretty active and am outside much of the time. I have used all the crutch tips in this package. They were able to last for a period of 5 days, up to 3 weeks, and various times in between. The bottoms would wear away or the metal washer in the crutch tip would pop out of the side. I am struggling to find crutch tips that last. These have had the lowest longevity that I have used in the 52 years that I have used my crutches.

I destroy tips in a week many times so econo box is the only way to go! They do last longer than other tips also. I have concerns with water. It is summer now, but most tips suck in the rain or around to the pool and locker room shower. It seems crutches need retrofitting for the seasons and activities.... Costs are ridiculous when you have to try everything on the market, because nothing is actually the right thing... it seem I try to find the least of the evils balancing cost with performance. The really expensive tips are too heavy, last longer, perform around water better, but the cost is out of sight and they still need replacing....

So far so good!

So far so good on these! I beat the tar out of regular crutch tips and those normally last me a week or 2, im going on a month and a half of daily , hard abuse on the same bare of these, and the tread is just now starting to wear off on me, but i still don't show any signs of the crutch beginning to bust through yet! So far these are the toughest reasonably priced crutch tip I've found. With this shipment being 8 pairs of 2, you can't go wrong with these, even if you put as much abuse on your orthopedic equipment as i do, this one shipment will last you for months.

I’ve been using the black tips for more than a year and consistently get four months out of a pair. I’m trying grey tips now

When they're new, they're excellent - but that doesn't last long...

So I get that these are wear parts - like brake pads or tires on a car. But those things last 40-80 thousand miles. These are made for bariatric crutches that are good to 600 pounds. I weigh half that, and wear out these feet in two or three days. The always wear out on the bottom and the crutch post punches through. My attitude is that if Michelin can make tires that carry a 6000 pound SUV for 80k miles, I should be able to find crutch tips that last a few weeks. If they were cheaper, I'd have rated better. If they were more durable, I'd have rated better. But the fact is that they've kinda got ya, and the product doesn't represent a good value, I'm afraid.

Nice, last about an hour a pair...

Nice soft rubber, excellent grip and shock absorbing BUT last about an hour before end of crutch pokes through bottom of tip and they are done. Less on rough surfaces like sidewalk. Tried on aluminum crutches with the plastic insert on bottom and wooden crutches with flat ends and wooden crutches with rounded ends - all push through. 200lb user, might work if you're half that...
