THESE ARE GREAT!

Wasn’t too sure what to expect here but was happily surprised. Assembly was surprisingly easy. Easiest with 2 people. I was nervous about applying the glue, but the parts lock in pretty well and look great! Mounting hardware was sturdy and easy to affix to brick wall. I ended up buying 2 more and the wife loves them!

Don't be like me...read the description

Wife picked these (and other, similar boxes out). I ended up buying a total of 5 (3-2' and 2-3'). I read the reviews but not the description. I was surprised to receive smaller than expected shipping boxes initially thinking I received the wrong size. Nope, assembly required. It really wasn't bad but it did take quite some time. You end up with a bottom, two end caps and a front and back. The tricky part is glueing the pieces together. I firmly believe the glue that is sent is a cheap PVC glue. The reason I say that is simple. Last year I installed a large vinyl fence in my back yard that required PVC glue for the caps on the post as well as glueing together three gate kits. That glue was more fluid like. The glue that came with all five boxes I received was almost dry. The manufacture date on the glue was 2019 so I don't believe that was the issue. Compared to the glue I had for the fence project, it was extremely hard to squeeze out of the tube. If I lived closer to HD or Lowes, I would have simply drove there and bought new glue (it was that hard to squeeze out). Fitting them together was not a big deal. I started with the bottom plate, dropped that into an end cap and then put the front and back on. The more difficult part was putting the other end cap on (trying to align all the pieces since it is a snug fit. I went ahead and sealed the joints on the inside as well. It would be helpful to have a second person with the final end cap (which I did not have). Another part of the description I did not read was the fact it came with the wall mount brackets. I was extremely surprised and happy with that. Initially my wife wanted me to build her some window boxes, which would require me to purchase the brackets. If you simply search for the brackets, anything decent looking is $30+. Given the cost of material and the fact they were included in this product, it's a good value/deal. The brackets are very sturdy (probably 3/16" thick). Very happy and pleased with the appearance, value and quality.

Not easy to put together!

These are very nice looking window boxes, however, the glue they sent to put them together was quite dried out. My husband has to purchase more in order to finish the job. In addition, one of the “board” was so warped it wouldn’t fit properly. My husband had to use a heat gun to bend it back into shape. I guess you take your chances when ordering from an unknown company

I now have 6. Five this size and one 6ft one. Beautiful and sturdy

These planters are lovely. It did take time to assemble the first one, the rest went faster. They are still sturdy after the soil and plants were added. The brackets are good quality and heavy duty. You wont be disappointed with these ones. Go for them! I will post pics later.

Very will constructed, good drainage, comes with everything you need to mount ( brackets ) very attractive & easy to hang , happy camper ???? well worth the money & it arrived on time .

Oh the glue!

I must have received old glue. Getting it to come out of the tube was extremely difficult, almost impossible. I had to use a steel tube key to get a small stream of glue to come out - and even that didn't do an adequate job. It was impossible to apply a consistent quantity of glue with how difficult it was to squeeze the tube. I highly doubt this window box will withstand the years of use I was expecting from it. Unfortunately, I bought 4 and they can't be returned. Aside from the glue issue, the box looks nice and the quality is what I expected. How long it holds together, or if it does, is yet to be determined.

Ventilation needed

Great looking and easy to assemble window box. I would put it together outside if possible, the high I got from the included glue must have killed some brain cells.

Very nice piece. Easy to assemble and easy to install. Beautiful addition to out home. I highly recommend.
