Pink setting powder

I’ve been buying this setting powder in stores since I was 16 years old, but this was my first time ordering off of Amazon. I laughed when I opened the package — this is a straight-up pink powder, not a translucent one. I added a photo of it next to my other translucent powder for comparison (which is what my last Marcelle powder looked like more or less). I have cool pink undertones so I can make it work right now with a summer tan; its way too dark any other time of year for my fair skin. In the winter it was unusable. Won’t be repurchasing on Amazon, and I’ll look carefully at what colour the powder is next time I buy it in store to see if Marcelle has reformulated, or if this is perhaps not a genuine product. If you get the chance to grab it at Shoppers Drug Mart or elsewhere in person and it isn’t pink, do it!! It’s the best value out there for a loose powder.

Excellent texture, no ashy cast

This is actually a tinted powder, it is not white or translucent in the container. If it helps anyone, I often use L’Oréal true match foundation in W3, many powders are too light for my skin colour. This powder is invisible & doesn’t settle into wrinkles. Unlike some powders I’ve used, this one doesn’t give me an “ashy” or white cast to my skin. Helps to set makeup. No allergic reactions, no scent at all, works well over makeup. Doesn’t provide coverage like a powder foundation, this is purely a setting powder or a powder to reduce shine. And it’s talc free, That’s a big deal, because a lot of talc is inadvertently contaminated with asbestos, so don’t want to be breathing that in while brushing it over your face!

Almost didn't buy

The product image looks very pink, so I was worried that it would not be the beige-y "translucent" colour that I'm used to, but the product was exactly what I wanted.

I ordered TRANSLUCENT setting powder. It is so orange I would look like a gross pumpkin. Super disappointed in the lack of truthful product description. If you are an oomph loompa... this is the color of setting powder for you!
