Good but maybe not great

Poop smell is lessened but not completely absorbed. When I open the genie pail I still get a very strong stench..

No dirty diaper smell in this house

We will definitely be purchasing this product again. There is absolutely no evidence of dirty diaper smell in our house. Even when we open the diaper genie to dispose of a diaper, nothing. Thrilled with my purchase.

I have used these several times, but I can never really tell a difference between when it's being used and when it is not.

This product is amazing! I had a regular Diaper Genie once with no place for filter, and the smells were unbelievable in the house! So my husband got us the diaper Genie with filter, I am using the same filter for 3 weeks ish and I don't know how but it works perfectly! There is no longer this horrible smell from the diapers !! This is a genius product!!

These work !

If you have a diaper genie, please buy several of these filters to avoid your baby's room smelling terrible! These filters work really well at keeping the stink away, however once they are done working you need to have back up right away to avoid the room smelling like a garbage dump. They last about a month to a month and a half depending on the number of diapers and wipes you toss in the genie. It's definitely good to have lots of these on standby and it's great this one come with a few.

Waste of Money - WILL NOT WORK - 100% Diaper Smell Active

We purchased this with the intention of reducing the diaper smell odour however, it never worked! The strong diaper odour remained, even though we change the diaper bags every 2-3 days. This is a complete waste of money and you will be disappointed - avoid this purchase; in-fact, it shouldn't even be sold because the description offers false promises and is deceiving to the consumer.

Helps minimize odour, not exactly eliminate it

It does minimize the odour from the dirty diapers but I can still smell some whenever the diaper pail is nearly full. I just changed the filter so I guess it doesn't really eliminate all odours, just minimizes it. It's better than nothing though. The previous filter barely lasted a month before I decided that the odour escaping is more than I can take. (I have a newborn and is exclusively breastfeeding so the odour isn't really strong.) Some reviewers said their filters lasted a couple of months or more, so I either got a subpar item or my nose was just too sensitive to smells. Will purchase again though as it does help

Doesn't absorb enough smell

They're ok, as long as your child's bowel movements don't smell too much. It worked super well when my son was a baby, but when his diapers started smelling more, it didn't keep up, even the day after changing it, so we switched to an oil based scent releaser and it was so much better than this carbon
