Sturdy and easy to use.

Bolts on the square tubing easily and feels very sturdy when grill is attached. Highly recommend!

I love having a floating kitchen on my pontoon

I love having a floating kitchen on my pontoon. I have had my Magma for over 10 years, it was originally on my cruiser and when I downsized to a pontoon for the river, I wanted to mount it to the rail. It's a good design that I only have a couple of gripes and fixes for. The first is that due to the vibration inherent in all boats, the pressure mounting will wear down the paint / finish of your square rails. Secondly, the bolts are a little soft (stainless) and easily get burrs on them from the screwdriver (especially since you are torquing). I have a fix for both. I used an old koozie and just sliced it down the side and removed the bottom. I wrapped it around the rail and then put the mount on. No opportunity for paint to be scratched by the vibration and/or the bolts hitting on the rail. Secondly, I just used a file and some sandpaper to round down the bolt heads after installing. Now I just leave it on year round. Yes it is expensive for what it is, but hey, it's boating and it's Magma.

Works perfectly

Used this mount on the railing of a French balcony in an apartment. You will need to buy all the essential hardware, including stainless screws, nuts, washer and lock-washers - no big deal. Quality construction, mounts easily. Now our son can use his Magma Kettle by just sliding open his living room door!

Not boat friendly - very over priced

The product comes with no hardware and no suggestions of what is the best way to secure the bracket in various configurations. Count on dropping your nuts, bolts, tools overboard if you plan to install/uninstall while you are out on the water -

Just add screws and nuts already

Works fine, just need to waste time getting screws and nuts to hold in place.

Wish they included hardware but I knew the didn’t so non harm no foul. Nice heft to product.

It works

It is what it is does not come with mounting hardware so still had to buy stainless bolts and rubber to mount to rail but it does work
