Quality Masks, Good Company, Some Variations in Packaging

2nd Update: 2nd order received. This time, I did not receive masks in the Magid box. After calling Magid, it appears that they had masks come in all different types of packaging initially. They are different from the last order just slightly, but the ear loops seem secure, the construction is very close. I'm not seeing the quality problems reported by others. The upshot is that Magid is a real company with a US office, with a website, who answers the phone quickly. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and explained the packaging discrepancy. That's worth a small premium for me. I'll likely just hang onto these for now. Magid has its own packaging which is actually nice and professional. Now that the supply chain is squared away, hopefully this will be a long-term supplier for me. We're going to be masked-up for quite a while it seems. ========================= Update, I have been using the same mask for several days now. The ear loops are fine. No breakage and I have not been careful. . The mask seals well on my face and I don’t get too hot. I don’t understand these poor reviews. It’s a disposable face mask, not a sling shot. ————- These appear to be quality, disposable masks, well packaged and hygienic. I tested the ear loops and they did not separate using reasonable force to take on/off the mask. They are certainly are as good of quality as what was given to me by my doctor. Will likely order more.

Great but needs improvement

I’ve purchased many masks during the height of the pandemic. These are one of the best ones I’ve purchased from amazon. It’s softer than others. The ear straps are comfortable. I haven’t had any of the breaking issues. There’s no smell. The only issue that I have is that the nose wire is hard to mold compared to the cheaper masks. It really takes some effort while I could pinch the other masks and it was perfectly molded to my nose. This one requires me to take it off my face and use more force. Therefore, it doesn’t provide as tight of a protection. If you have a bigger face, it probably wouldn’t be an issue. It doesn’t work well for flatter faces.

Breathing is much easier than the fashion cloth masks.

These may not look pretty, but it's so much easier to breath with these on than my pretty fashion cloth masks. They also have the nose piece which allows you to pinch the mask closer and helps avoid fogging of eye glasses during wear. Yes, sometimes the mask ear pieces break; but remember these are disposable. They are not made for extended wear or washing ;)

Ear straps come off.

I ordered these mask hoping for a good fit and comfortable. It's very disappointing that the ear straps come off with very little pressure. I went to the Dr last week and I had to use three mask due the ear straps coming off. I always carry extra ones because I know this is going to happen.

My endless search is over!

We have been looking for a good quality disposable mask for a while now - even returning one order from another vendor for a flimsy version. However, after reading Magid is a longtime medical supply company in Chicago, I took a chance. And it paid off. The mask is well-made and sturdy. The packaging was also good, wrapped in plastic inside the box. It also arrived quickly and exactly as scheduled. The price is great, allowing us to wear two for added protection if needed. Thank you, Magid.

Not too bad

I wish these were a little larger because breathing in and out caused me to end up with the mask clinging to my face. With a lot of adjusting it does an okay job. A few have had the elastic break. Other than this, they're okay.

Good Buy.

Having disposable masks are much better than the regular black cloth masks which are hot and hard to breathe. By the disposable masks having a metal strip to squeeze around your nose, it stays in place, is cooler, and much easier to nreathe.
