Fun storytelling tool to get the creativity flowing!
I love these! I was already a huge fan of Rory's Story Cubes, but as a Batman fan, I had to add these to the mix. The coolest thing about Story Cubes is how open-ended and versatile they are. A lot of people use them as a group storytelling game, but I mainly use my Story Cubes on my own as writing prompts for my original fiction writing. I'll pick randomly out of a bowl and roll a couple of dice, then I use the resulting images as inspiration for a scene or short story. This Batman set also works well for fun fanfiction prompts, just saying. :) The only issue I've had with this set was that one of the cubes has a smudge across one side - right through Alfred's face! But the quality has been so good with all my other Story Cubes that I don't feel like it detracts from my overall satisfaction.

Good Doctor Who symbols
Another great set with good images on the dice. There are a variety of the classic monsters, as well as objects and places that are easily identifiable as Doctor Who related, but all of them can be adapted to regular science fiction or general story telling, with some creativity. Daleks, Davros, K9, River Song and her diary, Tardis and control panel, sonic screwdriver and psychic paper, Zygon, Sontaran, Silurian, Ice warrior and Cybermen, historical people and locations, etc.

We love the Story Cubes - been using them since our kid was 6 or so - and since we are total Whovians I was VERY excited to find these. If you've never used Story Cubes before, each one of the dice has a picture on each of its sides. On your turn, you roll all of the dice at once and look at all of the pictures facing up. With those pictures, you formulate a quick goofy story. It's pretty hilarious what a kid will come up with, and the adults have fun as well.

We love our Batman Story Cubes! My 8-year-old needed to work on his handwriting, and the Batman Story Cubes was a lifesaver! Writing is now fun, instead of “homework.”

Great motivating story starters
As a teacher for several years, I have found that the story dice have been very helpful in getting children over their fears in creating stories, or in writing stories. I purchased this set because my boys asked for an action character story dice. When i saw the Batman set, I knew these were perfect for my boys to include their favorite character in their action adventure stories.

Great for ALL AGES for creativity and fun!
These are great! I bought them for my friend who is a die-hard Whovian... He's been wanting them for years. He forced me to play a game with him and we had so much fun creating Doctor Who stories. These are great for all ages and families to be creative together! Great buy!
