Great lightweight light

I got this to replace an old canister light that died and am very happy overall. Pros: Very lightweight for the power output, nice battery life (e.g., I got two 1-hour dives using the 'medium' power and 'spot' setting, which was good for night lobster diving). The 'wide' setting looks good for video. Cons: The sliding power lever/switch is very easy to bump and turn on when in your dive bag, or change power level while diving, even when it's in the 'locked' 90 degree position. You can push the power lever for 4 seconds to put it into travel mode, which I'm going to use in the future. I also wish it came with a hole or split ring to allow easy mounting to a retainer or bolt snap (I rigged something up with some cave line).

Great light for the cost

This is a nice, bright light for the cost. When it was new, the batteries easily lasted for two 45 minute dives. There is a two year warranty on from Light & Motion and their customer service was quick, friendly and helpful. I had my light for close to a year when it stopped working on a recent dive trip. I emailed Light and Motion when I got home, provided my Amazon invoice and less than a week later I have a brand new light from L&M. They responded to my email in just a couple of hours, and the new light was shipped the very next day.

High quality light

Great little light. Easy to charge, fits snug on my hand. Good brightness, easy to adjust settings. After having flooded several lights in the past, I love that I never have to open the light up to service it or charge the battery. It’s factory sealed so I don’t have to worry about if I put the right amount of lube on the O-ring or sand getting in the way of a proper seal. Highly recommend!

Great primary dive light

I have used the sola 800 in the past bought this as my new primary dive light. Very comfortable light, easy to operate, very bright.

Really good light.

Works really good, I like not having to hold a light in my hand. Really easy to put on and take off even with gloves on. Puts out plenty of light in both modes. I like being able to switch for beam to flood with just a flick of the switch.

All Motion, No Light

I am impressed with the quality of the material and the brightness of the light. The spot is more practical in southern california waters than the flood which just reflects off all the particulate in the water. The vendor provided what looks like original packaging for the light. However, it failed after only one dive. Only a dim center light comes on. I charged it completely and it appears to take and indicate a full charge but the light only turns on very dimly. The LEDs follow the correct pattern from lo, med, hi. And it can enter/leave the travel mode (blinking red). But no light, only motion.

Great For Night Diving

I bought this light for night diving and it did not disappoint. With the light on flood mode it worked flawlessly with my gopro. Most lights have hot spots, but on flood this did not. Attached images are taken from some video at night with a gopro hero 6 black. I left it on the low setting on flood most of the time and it was still bright. Battery life was fine for our hour dives.
