Not what I expected

I'm used to playing CAH so maybe I shouldn't compare. There's only a handful of raunchy cards, just wasn't as fun as we expected.

A fun and simple starter game.

This is not the kind of game you can play often, at least not with the same people, as it can get stale pretty fast even if you don't keep running into all of the same cards. There are definitely some golden moments to be had when someone gets just the right combination of cards, but there are just as often rounds where nobody can put anything together that doesn't require some stretching of the imagination to make it funny. We've found that often, it helps to be prepared to explain the comic you put together in a funny way to sell it to the judge rather than just plunking them down and hoping for the best. Most of the strategy involved here revolves around tailoring the comic you put together to what you think best fits the judge for that round's humor best. For what it's worth though, especially when you have new people to play with, it's a great light hearted game that almost explains itself . The best ways to use the game have been either playing with people that normally would never agree to playing a game with you because they have zero patience for learning the rules to a new game, and for playing with a regular gaming group as an appetizer to a longer game session of a more complicated game. At this point I think I would purchase expansions for the game if I were to find them on sale but I don't love the game enough to rush out to buy more cards for it right away.

Authentic !

Such a fun game ! I’m mostly writing this review because I know it’s a bit unclear of whether or not this is a legit item. I myself was hesitant to purchase because some reviews said the item was counterfeit and the creators cynaide and happiness posted to their Facebook to confirm that counterfeit games were being sold on amazon. The game is currently sold out everywhere I’ve looked so I decided to take a gamble and order it from here and I’m happy to say that it is a legit game I got. The cards are all good quality and all of the words there are no mistakes and all 10 blank cards were included in a separate package. There is also an authenticity sticker on the back of the box as well as a batch code on the inside. The box did arrive a little banged up but that is because it was shipped in an envelope and not a box, that would be my only complaint.

Highly recommended for hours of adult entertainment

This is not a game for the easily offended. It's based on the Cyanide and Happiness series of comic strips, which uses tongue in cheek humour and offensive tones to entertain readers. The initial game contains enough cards to last for approximately 2 to 3 hours of play for four people. It lasts so long because of the number of cards provided and the amount of time spent cringing and crying (in laughter) in between rounds. It's very easy to play and the combinations of cards are virtually limitless. I've played Cards Against Humanity a number of times but find it has limited replayability because the words become familiar, however the beauty of this game is that it's a visual story unfolding and the ending card can really twist it in expected ways. The cards were a high quality print, though I noticed a bit of rough printing on the back of some of the cards. It doesn't bother me particularly, but other buyers ought to be aware.

great party game

If you're a fan of cards against humanity, you'll love this game; it has a very similar play style and sense of humour. I broke this out for the first time at a party last night and it was a huge hit with my guests. Everyone was laughing at every turn. I will say however I suspect this game works best with groups of at least 6. While the game designers did a good job of making the comic panel pieces very easily compatible with many other cards, there's only so far that can realistically go. I'm sure in small groups there would be scenarios where there are no good punchlines presented some turns. All in all though, this is lots of fun.
