Strong magnets, works as intended

The magnets on this thing are STRONG! I’ve bought a few bit holders that had such weak magnetic force they wouldn’t hold onto even a short screw. I’ve held up to 3” screws with this one. In use the gold collar tends to slide down at odd moments, but that’s a little gripe. I’d get another one

It suits specific applications from time to time.

I was in a hurry when purchasing this item. I had hoped that it was a 3/8" drive to an adjustable chuck to facilitate use round drill bits. It adapts to hex obviously (now) seems well put together. The magnet performs wonderfully and for the price it's a good option to have available for situations such as needing to torque non-head heads. I just pop it onto the torque wrench with the appropriate driver and it's ready to ratchet.

Worked great/Then magnet broke

I used this on a 3/8 impact driver. It worked great for the first few days on a project then the magnet part inside started to shatter. Slowly all the magnet pieces fell out and so the bit heads will sometimes pop out after using it. With that being said however it still works fine.

Worked good for about two boxes of screws but then the magnet started to crack and break. It was cheap to buy so it did what it needed to but will not last

Durable, handy, affordable.

I put it on my Milwaukee 3/8 Stubby impact gun which puts out 250 ft lbs of torque, far over what these are probably meant to see. Used it to help build a deck with it as using a drill to put in screws is nonsense. (Railings ect) The only think i can complain about which isn't really valid is that it isn't a collet design. It's just got a decent magnet to keep the bits in there good enough to not fall out when running around. Not good enough for hauling on ect but it's sure handy and if you really want a collet and use these a ton, maybe consider an actual impact driver which would have a built in collet which holds them strong. Love it though and it makes my Impact have another use and keeps me from buying another expensive tool...for now.

Doesn't lock on a bit the collar looks like it should but its purely a magnetic attachment. Otherwise it works
