GOOD DIRECTIONS STANDS BY THEIR PRODUCTS

After reading several reviews regarding damage to the cupola upon delivery I was reluctant to purchase one for my home. I rolled the dice as more comments were favorable. Upon arrival, I opened the box to find three corners of the top - copper portion had either large chips and or separation at the seems (see photos). I was in a state of "what do I do now?". To make matters worse, Amazon has NO RETURN lockers or outlets in my region of Connecticut. Seriously? Amazon was the seller of the product and the only option was to return the entire item when I only need the top part replaced. Logistically, this is not looking good for Amazon and not having a return option here makes it horribly difficult to remedy. I figured I'd roll the dice again and call Good Directions directly. I was on pins and needles thinking of what nightmare may lie ahead. Much to my surprise Good Directions offered me a quick, timely replacement. The gal whom answered was understanding, courteous and friendly. They stand by their product! Thank you so much! The less than 5 stars was me saying that AMAZON must make the experience better and more user friendly. Perhaps, if they are buying these and reselling them directly to the public, they should be prepared to fulfill only broken parts. The cupola is wonderful and I'm looking forward to it with my new Good Directions weathervane on my roof.

Nice Coupola

Please with product. Not pleased with "Frequently Sold With" recommendations cited for this item which hypes a "weathervane mount" that is not needed if mounting a weathervane to this cupola. This a deceptive advertising in my opinion. So best make sure you thoroughly check the features of the cupola you're buying before shelling out any additional $$'s for a mount that most likely will not be needed.

Easy install at a great price

Super easy to install. Any DIYer can put this up in 30 minutes. Cost was great and finished product looked like it should cost much more.

construction shabby

was not as good as I thought it would be. Joints were loose and base was wobbly. I had to finish nail to tighten it up. Joints were loose on all 3 pieces.

Cupola looks great and was easy to install

Cupola looks great and was easy to install. The base had a slight crack in it when shipped. We decided to fix the small crack instead of returning the item. Amazon Customer Service issued us a partial refund for our inconvenience. Thank you.
