Thin but strong

I'd hoped the thread would be more substantial and that there would be more of it. It's thin like cheap generic dental floss. It should work for thin, delicate material.

Excellent thread

Excellent cotton thread. I use mostly for hand sewing. It does tend to tangle at the end a bit but a little beeswax helps that. The thread is very even with no slubs.

Good stuff. Strong, soft, takes fabric dye really well. Produces a little bit of fuzz, but otherwise you can't really go wrong with Gutermann.

Weak

Used to sew on a shirt button on a wool flannel. Thread proceeded to break 3 separate times, forcing me to have to sew said button back on every time. I can easily break this thread with my bare hands; far and away the weakest of the cotton thread spools I have.

Discontinue please

Gutermann is my favorite but they need to discontinue this thread. I bought it for quilting. It is so thin u can hardly see it. First stitch broke. I bought four of them and don’t know what I will b doing with them
