The original battery charger that came with a battery lasted only a year and burned out. So far, the replacement unit I purchased is working without any problems. I’ll report back if it craps out.

It works great!

A dedicated charger is one of those items that's hard to review. As long as it works and doesn't die on you there really isn't much else you can ask of it since there aren't other options to choose from. It charges quickly and lets us get in a recharge to cut the entire yard done in one day rather than having to cut over several days like it would if we had to charge overnight. Review done it's time for a bit of storytime so you hopefully won't make the same mistake I did that caused me to have to buy this in the first place. You see, the charger that came with my mower died, but I blame that on a faulty battery and my own stupidity. My lawn mower battery was sadly DOA. It refused to charge from Day One. We got just enough juice out of it to confirm the mower did indeed run. I contacted Greenworks and they were awesome about getting me a replacement since it was still under warranty. But, while I was waiting for the replacement battery to arrive I was told that sometimes a battery that's refusing to charge or shows as faulty can be given a 'boost' by rapidly pulling on and off the charger to get it going again. Do not make the same mistake I did!! Not only did it not fix the bad battery. It shorted out the charger. Personally I consider that a feature not a fault. Better that the charger die than the battery explode. But it still meant I needed to get a new charger and since the fault was entirely my own for disobeying the user's manual I ate the cost of getting a replacement. Hopefully the only reason you'd need this is so you can charge multiple batteries at the same time so you always have one ready to swap out.

I ordered this battery, was not the right one for me. had to send ti back, seller was easy to deal with. No issues at all with seller. I ordered this charger cause it was recommended when I bought the weed wacker and the battery. was not the right one. Seller said yes I can send it back with no hassles.
