Comfortable, love the fit and stretch, dislike the shallow pockets

I bought a pair of these GV "Amanda" jeans at another store and I liked them so much that I came home and immediately ordered another pair from Amazon. I purchased a size 14 tall for 5'8" tall and 170 lbs. and they fit me perfectly. The jeans are stretchy but they have a panel that slims down my tummy area a bit. The wide waist band is very comfortable. I love that these just pull on and I haven't had any issues with them sliding down even after wearing them all day long. Under tunic tops, they look like regular jeans. I do wish the pockets weren't so shallow and that the bottom of the leg openings were slightly smaller. The leg bottoms are not quite as large as boot cut size but not quite as thin as my other straight leg jeans. Overall, I really like these GV jeans. They look like regular jeans, are comfortable to wear, easy to pull on and off, and they help hide my tummy. I would definitely buy these again.

Great jeans but I need front pockets that are functional

After reading reviews I noticed many people said jeans are larger than normal. I usually take a size 16 (not 16w) so I ordered a size 14, and they fit perfectly. I really like them a lot, they are comfortable but very thick jean material so I didn't want to wear them all day. They really stretch quite a bit and I have to stretch them over my (maybe large?) butt from the back, but once they are on, they are not tight at all. It's a strange fit for sure! Everything was great, except I need functional front pockets, it's obvious the only purpose the front pockets serve, is the design only. =(

the functional pocket.......

For the most part these pants are great. They fit me perfect. The fabric is heavy enough for no show through. They wash and dry well. My ONLY complaint is that the front pockets should not be called "functional"! LOL You can stick your hand in the pocket about 1 inch and then you have to "turn a corner" because the "depth" of the pocket is actually horizontal across the front of the pants. Very strange.

Fits tighter than expected

I’m 5’3.5” tall and about 118 lbs. I ordered a size 4 short because I want to wear these with tennis shoes or sandals. I received them today and they fit like a tight glove with a slight flare at the ankle. The length is okay but they’re much tighter fitting than I’d hoped for. In fact, it’s like pulling up thick leggings when putting them on. I’ll keep them just because they were a decent price and I might wear them in the fall with an oversized sweater. I’m a little disappointed but maybe I’ll lose a few pounds and they won’t fit so snug ????

GOOD FIT

24 in womens. These jeans fit well and I like the colors, my only issue is the front pockets are terrible! They are way too shallow and placed to run along the tummy, really weird, they almost meet in the middle, cant put anything in them!

the waistband doesn't have much give

White size 6 I liked the fabric, denim like. This isn't the first pair of pull-up jeans that had the problem of with little give in the waistband. It's not as stretchy as the rest of the jean. Once up they look and feel fine. Haven't washed them yet. Excellent price overall. 5'*8 1/2 140 lbs

Not What I Wanted

The pants were too large (but, just today I did order a pair in a smaller size to see how those work). I wasn't expecting the flare on the bottom of the leg (I was wanting something more tapered so am hoping the pair I just ordered look as shown). But: They do seem durable, they have kept their color, they don't wrinkle in the dryer, and the wider pocket is a definite plus. Hoping the pair I just ordered is more of what I want.

Good fit, nice fabric

Great fitin hips and legs. Pull on waist is a bit too big but with shirt over it, it doesn't matter. Pale washed denim color is perfect for warm weather. Great value for the money.

Color and line are nice but it is too big around the waist and has "something" not sure what is supposed to be,inside at the stomach area that feels very weird. Too bad.

Great jeans

Wow! I actually found jeans that fit my plus-sized proportions perfectly. I bought these on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit and how great they look. So comfortable! I will be buying more from this brand.

Too small.

I have 2 pairs of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans size 12, that I am currently wearing. They are fitting a little snug so I ordered a size 14. They don't fit any larger than the size 12. The waistline gaps at the back, and they fit very tightly through the upper leg.

I have found my new favorite pants. They are comfortable, fit to a tee, wash and wear well. You just have to find the right brand for the right body!
