Doesn't really seem to dampen any shock. I can't tell a difference with this on or off my racquet. I had another that looked just like this about a year ago and it worked really well. This one did not.

Doesn't seem to work as well as my old ones

I have used the these dampeners for many years, and finally had to replace one after years of use. I'm not sure if I just got a dud, but this new one just doesn't seem to dampen as well.

A good buy for this price.

I play tennis at least twice a week and it has worked great on my racket so far. Only complainant is it pops of every now and again with a really strong forehand.

Plastic hooks snapped easily

The product dampened effectively, but the plastic hooks snapped easily. I'm not an overly powerful player. I purchased three in May and had broken all of them by the end of the summer season.

hit and miss

Ordered several, 1 of the dampeners broke within 1 week. Only used it twice.

Good Vibrations

Great shock absorber for most racquets. Every racquet i've tried this on makes the raquet feel more 'poppy' and yields a great feel. Would buy again! Get rid of that 'ting' sound and feel that pop! Used with Head Liquidmetal 2 Radical.0 OS, Head Liquidmetal 4, and Babolat Aeropro Drive.

A classic design that still works well today

Does not last very long.

I have gone through several of these dampeners over the years. They last about one tennis season as the hard plastic ends which connect the device to the string eventually breaks off the silicone. They may not be durable but they do what they are made for - dampen the tennis strings and eliminate the ping.

Sehr empfehlenswert dieser Shockbooster von Gamma. Alle die mit Dämpfer spielen, werden dieses Teil lieben. Werde ich sicher nochmal bestellen.
