Air Fryer 700watts

My room has bad electrical wiring and can't have an appliance that goes over 700 watts. I was skeptical when I first looked at the fryer but after using it for the first time it did everything it was supposed to do perfectly.

Update: I had changed this from 5 stars to 1 star and now back to 5 stars. The reason for the 1 star change was because after ~6 weeks the unit stopped working, the heating element turned off after 3 mins of use and I would restart it and it would shut off again. However the customer service was awesome because even though it was past the window for a return they sent me a label for a free return and a full credit of which I have used to get another air fryer. Here’s my original review — I had been curious about air fryers for some time now and decided to take the dive and found this very small one that was inexpensive to play around with it. Oh my, it has become a staple in my kitchen since day one. I have made everything in this! From the standard french-fries (that I really thought it was only made for that) but then started making vegetables, fish (both just plain and also lightly breaded) and have now two times made Swedish meatballs that have come out perfectly browned and ready for the gravy (will make the same for my spaghetti sauce). This thing is fantastic. Cleans up with a wipe in 2 minutes. Another reviewer said they were surprised to cook fish in it and there was no fish smell in the kitchen -- TRUE! I will now look into a larger unit since this really is small and does well for a single person or a couple. I am addicted to this machine now. Easy to use, easy to clean. (FYI I am not a gadget person and have been in a chef status for a couple decades, making everything from scratch and the traditional way, but this is a great tool and uses zero to VERY little oils).

1000 watts, not 800.

Very disappointed. Specifically bought this to run on an inverter that will handle 800 watts easily. It's advertised at 800 watts, but nope. It's 1000 watts. Ugh. Why do they do that? :(.

Really nice and compact, good result!

It is good looking and works great. Not only do I air fry potatoes, but carrots as well with a bit of butter spray, delish. It even warms 1/4 roasted chicken and doesn't dry it out as oven reheating would (and keeps my kitchen cool). The unit looks like a big egg on the counter, cute and sleek, easy to clean, simple to operate.

Have to smash basket in or won't go in.

The basket won't go in unless you push it really hard and then take your thumbs and push the bottom of it in it goes off me Sooner than a should.

Great product for the money

I've never used an air fryer before, so I decided to start with this one for $40. It works great! Everything I've cooked in it has come out crispy on the outside and cooked in the middle. It really is like you deep fried them. If you're leery about spending a lot of money to try an air fryer, try this one. Clean-up is easy. It is rather small so maybe not what you need if you are cooking for more than 2 people.
